Slept a few hours at the hotel and now am back at the hospital. Mom went to get some sleep at the hotel. Dad is still restless and fighting. I am on her laptop. I brought some DVDs in case I want to watch something.

Good morning! I'm trying to get me motivated to do something with my day. I think I'm going to try to go to the local election office and get my voting done, then work on the yard a bit.

I'm at Barnes & Noble doing a bit of writing. So far I'm at 2,943 words, but it looks like the widgets aren't updating correctly.

Only a little over 43,000 words to go!

Well, I got half of my goals for the day accomplished. Made it to the election office to vote. The wait was only about 50 minutes, so that wasn't as bad as what I have seen on the news. I guess the lines in Georgia and Florida have been in the 5-8 hour neighborhood. Nice to see people actually turning out to do their civic duty. Glad I got it done though... can't imagine what the lines will be like on Tuesday.

Didn't get to the yard. It can wait until tomorrow. Supposed to be another great day. I did get my weekend shopping done. Now I'm just tired!

Just got done eating a fish dinner for supper. I guess I am gonna stay on the third shift schedule tonight even though I am off, because I work 9 out of the next 10 days. No sense screwing up my sleep pattern...if you can call it a pattern.

I can see your point. Making the adjustment is rough. This was a really long week for me because of the changing sleep hours. Now I have a really hard time dozing off before 1AM. Guess I'm supposed to be a night person.
