If you have to come back, be very careful about going out of the hospital at night Woo. St. Mary's is in a very bad part of town and all kinds of crap goes on over in that area. They have security if you want an escort to your car after dark. I advise using it.

we haven't had any trouble. Because we get there so early we have been able to park close. Hubby's aunt used to work there too. But we will be careful.

She is, but hasn't left yet. Her last official day is this Friday. She gave five weeks notice. However, they have signed an agreement with her new firm to keep her doing our work. They haven't been able to find someone to fit the position yet. So, the word is keep doing what I am doing and nothing really changes until the bigger boss says so. That probably won't be until after they hire someone and give it a small transition period. I know what you are thinking, yes, fun.

I prefer Palin over Biden, and HATE that it seems the media has made it an Obama vs. Palin race. But I'm trying to look at the positives that Obama will bring if he wins. I do think having our first minority President would be a very positive thing. I do worry that he's about as liberal as they come though, and with what's likely to be an all-Democrat house and senate, he scares the hell out of me.
BUT, the real problem is I'm not a McCain fan either. So I'd like McCain to win because the Republican party more closely resembles my ideals, I'm not going to be horribly upset if he loses.
Like I said, I'm just looking forward to it being over. If Obama turns out to be as liberal as I fear he is then he'll be gone in four years anyway.
Sometimes I can't believe we are on opposite sides of the fence, I'm thinking the same things! I like Obama enough to confidently vote for him, but if there's one thing I don't like is how liberal he is. But on the issues that I think are important right now, I'm not seeing eye to eye with McCain.
I'm not all that thrilled with Palin, but I think I prefer her over Biden.
I'm also all about balance. I'd rather have Obama as president, and either the house or senate have a republican majority. But republicans in general are getting a bad rap right now.
Okay, so this means that there really are a lot of "undecided" out there huh? Someone at work and I were having the same sort of discussion earlier today.

I think part of what bugs me about Obama is that I don't really know what bugs me about Obama. I get this deep feeling that I can't trust him but yet I can't really put my finger on any one big thing. No, it has nothing to do with his race, either. There's just something I can feel but not see.
I don't agree with all of McCain's plans and I'm really sick of how negative he's taken this run, but I feel more trust that he's being genuine with us.
As I've said before, I'm all for throwing them both back and starting over.
Its probably a little late though with tomorrow being voting day.
I think the thing that concerns me about Obama is all of the hype. The guy hasn't really been in the Senate very long and doesn't have much of a voting record to go off of. He has a whole lot of celebrity working for him which sets the expectations very high... even with a Democratically controlled Congress, it will be very difficult to deliver upon the expectations. How is the country going to react if he does get elected and doesn't deliver the fantastic new society? What if he doesn't cut taxes for the middle class? What if he can't get us out of Iraq... which by the way he is already backing off on the immediate withdrawl statements he was making early in the campaign. If he fails to deliver, then what?
