X-Men fans, can this guy pull off Gambit?

This is an older article that I stumbled upon. They say that Taylor Kitsch from Friday night Lights has signed a 3 picture deal to play Gambit. I don't know him, but I guess I will have to wait and see. Gambit is my favorite character and I'm just not feeling it with this guy. Awhile back when I heard that Sawyer from Lost was a possibility I thought that was a good match if he could pull off the accent. I have been waiting and waiting for them to put Gambit into a film so I really hope that he does a good job!

I don't think I've ever seen Taylor Kitsch act, so I'm not sure.

Speaking of comics coming to the big screen and the actors who represent them, I've heard rumors that they're considering the girl from Transformers to play Sara Pezzini in Witchblade. I'm doubtful that she could do it. She looks too young and not badass enough.

Fom what i've seen of her, I don't see the badass. But who knows, i know she would draw a crowd though.
