The Communist Party of Great Britain was never greater than 50,000 members, but it punched well above its weight in terms of its impact on the labour movement. This is despite the fact that even at its height it could only secure the election of two MPs. Today the Communist Party has gone--shattered into a myriad of small, competing groups. But its influence still has reverberations both within the trade union movement and New Labour.
Today it is difficult to describe the impact of the Communist Party even just two and a half decades ago. When I became a socialist in Edinburgh in the early 1970s the party controlled the local trades council, the Scottish region of the National Union of Mineworkers with its head office in the city, and the Scottish TUC. At Edinburgh University there was a vibrant Communist Society. In some ways the influence of the Communist Party on the left of the Labour Party was more important. The Labour left was very much under the ideological sway of the Communist Party.

In my early career, I managed the online store for a business and frequently provided customer support to overseas customers. In fact, I negotiated with a customer in the country of Qatar, now known as the United Arab Emirates.
Later, I provided support to many authors who were immigrants to this country.
I've traveled out of the country (to Canada).
And, I have a dual citizenship. I am a natural born US Citizen, but I'm also a citizen of the Conch Republic.
I am looking for a candidate who will get rid of most of our foreign affairs, bring our troops home to protect this very important soil, will take care of our own country needs before helping others and not feel guilty for not making loans for which we will never see repayment. By not throwing away money (foreign affairs or bailouts), there will be plenty to take care of our residents, reduce the national debt and not have to raise taxes.
Anyone? Anyone? Can I get a little of that at least?

In addition, I propose to limit imports to things that we cannot get in our own country. This will help stabilize the economy, and create jobs, while increasing quality.
Also, I have a track record of compassion. I have worked for a charity, volunteered on my own time, and helped the community.

So, I am not being selfish by wanting to help fellow citizens get theirs lives back together, get the medical attention they need, help stablize our investments, better quality in our products, education and overall well-being? And immigrants are welcome, but the must work towards citizenship and pay taxes if they expect the same rights and equalities that we have.

They are just hopes, aren't they? Now I am sad. I wonder if that will ever happen in this country. I guess we have to find a leader willing to take those risks.
Maybe I should start saving now. A campaign costs a lot of money. I will be old enough next election to be president. I don't really want to be president, I just want to help. Maybe I can be something. I have about as much experience as Palin. Although, I can't see Russia, my foreign experience is more like a visit to Canada, England and a foreign exchange student as a roommate one semester in college. That is about the same as her right?

Mema is for logical application of our troops. Sometimes international situations do require military response. After all, one cannot allow ones country to get beotch slapped by others. A strong national defense program is very important.
With that said, Mema also believes that we should be a lot more self sufficient. We should be leading in the effort to produce energy not only for ourselves, but also for export to friendly nations. Mema is extending an offer to T. Boone Pickens to run the energy department. Our "bail out" policy it centered around investing in the energy future of this country which will in turn put Americans back to work, make energy more plentiful and therefore less expensive for our citizens and improving our economy and our environment.
If other nations wish to call themselves a friend of the US and have good relations, they should actively NOT support terrorism. If you want our money, our goods, our tourism, and to visit our casinos and theme parks, you best be on board with waking the friendly walk, not just paying lip service.
Mema has traveled to Canada, and has had extensive dealings with several international cultures including the Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Pakistani, French, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Philippino, German, Russian, Ukranian, Spanish, Mexican, Venezuelan, Jordanian, Kuwaiti, South African.... the list goes on. My esteemed running mate has correctly stated that I keep my community safe from criminals, Canadians and kids coloring outside the lines of coloring books, who have been proven to be prime communist party targets.
I want to categorically state for the record I have, nor will I ever be affiliated with the communist party...for one thing, it isnt much it isnt much of a party, no chips, no dip, no cola.
