One of my co-workers met a guy online and he was going to fly out here on Thursday. On his way to the airport he rolled his car 3 times, he was able to fly into Denver but was not able to fly here due to the blizzard. He drove the 400 miles here in a rental car in a blizzard to see her, getting lost by a hundred miles but he finally made it. He was so exhausted he slept 13 hours on Saturday. Finally they got one day out of the original 4 to spend together and while they were driving he got a phone call telling him his 21 year old son was walking and had been struck by a car and killed.

Wow, but I am on to this fate thing. Or maybe a God thing. Maybe she will be able to help him through. Did they hit it off?
They are still talking, she is there for him and they did really like each other, she was torn whether to give him space or still contact him. I told her to let him know she is still there and give him the option. It looks like it might work out.
Update: His son is in the military and they are now saying he was murdered, he was run down by two cars. They are investigating it.

Honestly, if it were me and I had even decided to get on the plane to Denver, I think I would have taken the blizzard and the wreck as a sign that this trip was not meant to be and I would have gone back home.
Still, if they really care for each other and they can make it through something this messed up, then they probably will work out.
