Woo, thank you very much for the beautiful card you made for me. I got it on Tuesday, but didn't open it until this morning. Your cards ROCK!!
wow that got there fast! I thought you might get it Wed. After being late with JD's I wanted to make sure it got out in time. Probably a good thing with all my lack of sleep too.

I'm waiting for my oldest girl to get home, she should be coming any minute now, then we're going out for dinner tonight, my choice. I'm craving Mexican!!
You got that right girlfriend!! 29 is getting harder and harder to hang on to; especially since my oldest girl is 19. I was young, real young, when I gave birth.
Omg, it was soooooo good!!! I made a pig outta myself and ate everything that was on my plate. But it sure did satisfy my craving!!
Except today when I got home from work, I was wishing I had leftovers. Mexican food is my favorite. I could eat it 4 or 5 times a week and never get tired of it.
May be going for Mexican myself for dinner this evening. It was suggested and I didn't even do the suggesting.
I really should learn to try more things though. I always eat the same thing when we go. But it is good and I always have leftovers for lunch the next day. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Glad you had a nice time- who did you eat with? What did you eat? I love Mexican too, my hubby doesn't, but he will compromise once in a blue moon. Is your husband hunting right now too? I thought I remembered you saying he was or will be gone. I know Woo's is, but I thought I remembered reading you were alone too.
I had cubed beef wet burritos (3), refried beans, rice, those little noodle things (their name just suddenly vanished from my brain) and the girls and I shared a huge plate of nachos. Oh and I got a sugar cinammon thing for dessert--kind of like an elephant ear only much smaller. Told ya I made a pig outta myself. hahaha My dining companions were just my two girls.
My husband was gone for a week; he came home yesterday afternoon. Girls asked him if he wanted to come along, no dice. That's really ok with me......I enjoyed myself on my birthday.
Here's a pic of a wet burrito. Here, you have your choice of hamburger spiced with taco seasoning, chunks of chicken in some kind of seasoning, or cubes of beef (like stew meat) that's been cooked in a wonderful seasoned gravy. I have no idea how they season the gravy, but it is delicious!!!
might not even be what they eat! I much prefer to go to a more authentic restaurant, but I still wonder if they eat that way there, or just cater to our tastes.
Ruby, if you see Fideo on the menu, you really should try it. It's quite good, at least I think it is. The only Mexican food I won't eat are tamales, menudo, guacamole. I don't care for it.

It's really going to depend on who cooks it. Some like it really, really hot, others like it really mild and bland. I prefer more of a Tex-Mex taste.
I love avocados! But most people do not. I grew up eating them with italian dressing. I was shocked to see them with salsa, but I like them either way now! I am trying to lay off of all white noodles, but I would like to try it cause you sparked my curiousity. I had never heard of or tried crab ragoons until they were mentioned here and when I got to try them- yummy!
The noodles aren't exactly white.....uncooked they look almost like a whole grain noodle, smaller in diameter than spaghetti. But still, it's a noodle.
