I was reading a story about some numskull who commited suicide on a live webcam feed.
He was streaming through a service called JUSTINTV.
Well of course, that sight is getting a TON of traffic today since it got mentioned in a national news story (which is why I will happily mail an FFR T-Shirt to anyone who is willing to commit a nationally covered crime while wearing said shirt).
I checked it out for about 10 minutes. How sad.
Just a bunch of sad, lonely people sitting there on a web cam answering questions from perverts around the country.
It actually made me depressed to the point that I had to turn it off.
Wow, that is sad and depressing to hear! How could anyone just sit by and watch someone take their own life?? That gives me shivers just thinking about it.
Worse than that, some of the losers were egging him on!
Turns out the kid had a history of depression. They said some were telling him not to do it, some were telling him to do it, some thought it was just a gag.
Finally someone told the moderator who called police. When they got there the kid was really dead.
That's what this site seems to be. Sad little 14 year old girls that seem to be high, fielding messages from viewers to "take your shirt off", "show us your snatch", etc.
Oh... I remember the one you are talking about. Similar, only what was on the webcam was someone about to be murdered. The more hits the site got, the sooner the person would die.
