Brian and I decided what to get each other for Christmas today. He has expressed a desire to try to do some oil painting, so I thought I might get him some supplies from our local art store, Pygmalions.

It's also common for him to get me something from Pygmalions for Christmas. I thought it would be funny if we both got each other something from the same store.

Then I came up with it and proposed it to Brian, and he loves the idea. We're just going to go shopping there with each other for Christmas. Just the shopping together part, then the inevitable coming home to play with our new supplies, will be a great way to spend our Christmas together. (It won't be on Christmas of course, but we usually celebrate before Christmas so we don't have to pack the presents for each other in the car on our trip to see family.)
