My mom had a big family...I  grew up with aunts, uncles and cousins always at our house or us at there's.  The families are passing or moving away...so that big family thing isnt here.  I have to admit I do miss it.

I always wondered what that would be like. Today I have a very generous interpretation of "family" Most of what I consider to be my family has no legal or biological tie to me. Pambo has a phrase for it that I like... they are my "family of choice".
