Mornin' all. Slept last night via sleeping pills again. So again I am groggy. I really hope that my regular sleep pattern resumes while up north. I will be taking my Christmas cards with me and hope to get them done while there. I appears that I may have started too many but I'd rather have that than not enough.

Good day all!

I'm actually taking off work early today. That's really rare for me, I don't usually do that, especially before a holiday. But since we're on such a time crunch for Thanksgiving this year, and I have 8 hours of driving ahead of me in a 24 hour period, I need the extra time. So I'm leaving at 3.

I'm also wearing tennis shoes today and tomorrow. Even though these are the sorts of outfits I normally wear boots or dress shoes with, for some reason, I've decided on tennis shoes. I also usually don't like tennis shoes, but I like this pair I have now.

Morning all. I am leaving at three today also. All three kids are home today and my stepdaughter has to be at work at 4, and the other two fight too much for me to leave them alone.

I'll be back, I have 7 appointments today, but I bet a lot will not show up.

Morning all. Hopefully it will be a shortened day here in the office. If the big wigs are in a good mood, there is a chance they will let us out early, sometime between 3 and 4pm. Out early is always good. It helps avoid traffic. I have lots of little things to complete today. I have been in an hour and I have already finished two items on my list.

Work on.

Howdy folks.

I'm feeling more normal again today. Mrs Web said that yesterday was just a "man period".

I'm not sure yet if we are going to my brother's or not tomorrow. I'll call tonight and see how they are doing with that flu stuff. If we don't go there, we'll be home with just the three of us. That wouldn't be so bad either.

Mrs Web has Friday off so we all get to be home then. Huskers play Colorado Friday afternoon too so that will (hopefully) be fun.

Good morning, all! It's supposed to be another sunny day in the mid 50's here today. I'm already up and cooking.

We did have a bit of excitement at the hospital last night: there was a fire. Yes... not kidding... a fire. The fire alarm light started flashing in Pambo's room, so I went and found Conswella, the med tech, and inquired if I should be unplugging Pambo's bed and IV and running us the heck out the door. In a bright, cheery voice she said "No. It's okay. The fire is contained to the third floor. We just want you to stay in the room with your door closed. But hey, since I'm here... is there anything I can help you with?" Slightly disconcerted, I did inform her that there was an issue with the oxygen sensor, so she checked that out and got it to stop beeping. In the midst of that, same bright cheery tone, she says, "Gee... I hope the babies are okay. The third floor is the maternity ward. " weirdface.gif I guess it turned out okay. Didn't hear about it on the news this morning.

Speaking of gas bills, I just made a payment to mine via their website. On the home page, they have a big ad for, "Give the gift of energy this Christmas!" where you can make a payment to someone else's bill.

Morning all.

Not much going on today, but tonight we're FINALLY moving my grandma in with my Mom, so we'll be moving all her dressers and stuff from one house to another. I was nominated to be half the moving team. YAY. bleh.gif

I'm gonna be glad when Friday rolls around though and the whole move is behind us finally. Seems like Grandma's been on her way for a year now!

Hope everyone has a great day. I think I'll be around to harass you all for most of it! nod.gif
