There's an empty lot next to a power station across the street from our office. My window looks out at the empty lot. This morning, there's a van parked at the back of the lot next to the fence for the power station. I don't recognize the logo on the van. It makes me wonder what he's doing back there.
Anyways payroll is done. yay! Now I can maybe get into some sort of groove again. I'm feeling pretty tired though. And this morning I woke up with my back feeling like I slept like a pretzel. It is killing me! I hate to complain because my husband's back has been messed up since he fell on the ice the day he got the deer. He has been icing and medicating his back since he has been home. Other than that, not much going on. Tomorrow I have to drive myself to work. Hubby has a training or something to go to and wouldn't you know they are talking about how slick the roads are gonna be tomorrow.

Hi all! Today I am going to meet an old friend of mine from Harley after work, and I'm excited to see her. We've stayed in touch but I've not seen her since late summer. We're going to Nessun Dorma for some tapas and wine! Yay!

I had to email a buddy of mine and give him a hard time.
He works at the state capitol in Lincoln in their cabinet shop.
It is their job every year to get the big Christmas tree into the main part of the capitol building and get it set up. I saw a thing on the state news about it and it showed them working to get the tree in. I saw my buddy a few times in that segment.
Anyway, I had to email him and give him a hard time about being a cabinet maker who is supposed to have a good concept of objects and space and here he and his fellow workers are trying to shove a 30 foot tree through a 6 foot door.
I had to remind him that 30 is greater than 6 and is thus a big part of the problem they were having.
