Hey!


Do you have a story behind why you chose the avatar(s) that you use? I know Sparky provided his own, and that Riggs changes his every couple of months. Riggs also chose mine while setting up the community forum, because it looks like a fan of jazz. oddly enough, if I were to grow a mustache, (& that won't happen) my avatar would look a bit too much like me in shades!

I have changed mine a few times, but just found this pic of a British Bulldog, I am going to keep this one now, I love British Bulldogs and hope to own one when I have my own house. But I dont know if they come with the union jack face paint and tattoos as standard!!

I change mine too pretty regularly, because I get bored easily & need a change of pace...They are always Transformers Related, & the site I go to to select my Atvar has a couple hundred...so hopefully I won't repeat them any thime soon

Actually I did pick my Avatar from your Avatar page...It looked alot like a dog I had when I was a kid. We name him Lucky because he had just a few minutes left before he was scheduled to be gassed at the pound.


I've thought about changing mine also but feel this one kind of fits for now.


Does anybody else get a mental picture of other users by their Avatar? I do.

I do the same thing Sparky, I kida of get a mental image of what you guys might look like form you Avatar, but thats worrying when you think about it cause I would look like a cross between Bananna Man, Ultimate Warrior and A british bulldog!!! ohh well.

Has anyone ever thought of using a real photo of themselves as there Avatar?

I chose mine because it looks somewhat like me.  I have reddish blonde hair and blue eyes.  If you go to yahoo and look up peronal profiles, mine is mollydolly4300.  It has an actual picture of me.  I think the Avatar I have is close.  I do associate what people look like with their Avatars.  I'm afraid Jeremy looks like Homer in my mind and I doubt he really does at all.  Mental images are hard to change once fixed and set.

I've never been told that before, Sparky.  When I was younger (and Wynona was thinner), people said that I looked like her.  I don't know.  I never saw it, but whatever.

I gotta Agree with the sparkster...good pic, avatar matches nicely...and there is definitely a BP thing going on there....


BTW, Why does your yahoo Profile say Illinois, When you are from St Louis.....do you secretly wish you were a Cubs fan...But have to put the Cardinals Front on up in these Boards??? Or is this inconsistency just proving what we all know about people from Missouri???

I actually live in Illinois.  However, I live so far out in the country, they pipe in sunlight to us and no one would even know where I was talking about.  I work in St. Louis, so I put down St. Louis.  It gives you the general idea of where I am.  I live right near the Illinois River in a little bitty town of 1000 people, which is actually a step up because I used to live near a town of only about 200.  I'm in the "city" now. 


I definitely would not want to be a Cubs fan.  I love the Blues and the Cardinals.  We live so far away from Chicago it's like a whole 'nother country.

I chose mine because all you can see is the avatar's eyes.  In real life, nobody's see my eyes in about 2 years.  I wear dark glasses all the time.  It's kind of the reversed me.  Plus, I look like a harem girl or a ninja...whichever floats my boat on any given day.
