Yep, Latte' with Hazelnut syrup, Banana Nut Whole Wheat Pancakes and the local Sunday paper. Life is good. It's warm out today so, I think I can finally do the oil change on the Olds. Running on the parkway and a holiday show starring the niece. Tree trim and lighting might include egg nog (spiked) JD, did the kid meal last night but, not sure if I'm on for listening tonight. I'll check in to razz Ghost though.

The party went well. Everyone got buzzed, but no one got too drunk, and we didn't have to worry about keeping people from driving home. Most importantly, Brian had fun, and no hangover today!
Its a horrible weather day here. It snowed some early but that has stopped for the last couple hours.
The worst thing is that the temp is -2 and the wind a constant 15mph with gusts to 30+. That makes the wind chill -21. Yuck. With the weather, church attendance was REALLY low.
I've got some things to do today. One of my hosting customers had their account hacked and it was being used to send spam. I got the spam stopped within about 20 minutes, but it had still dumped THOUSANDS of messages. Now I have to deal with all the spam reports that are coming back to me.
Good evening, all. I made it back from the Chiefs game a little while ago. When I left the game, they were still winning, but I had lost feeling in my toe-cubes. It's not quite as bad as it is up north, but the temp dropped from 38 at the start of the game to 22 by the third quarter. Not sure what the wind chill was as I was walking into the wind going back to my truck to head home, but I know it was FREAKIN COLD!!

They are notorious for blowing it in the 4th. I figured they would. 2 of the 3 TDs they had were scored by Tyler Thigpen (3rd string QB) running the ball in himself. That's not really a good sign.
The freezing rain hasn't started quite yet, but man is the wind howling! Glad I'm in for the night.

Some fine day, I will decode the rules in the neighborhood association covenants and come up with the money to move the back wall out about 5 feet and remodel the kitchen. That would make me exceedingly happy.

True. Well, that is what I dream of... having the $$ to remodel. Oh well.. for now the small, poorly arranged kitchen will be a good reason to go on a diet after Christmas.

That was Thanksgiving cookies. They are all gone. Christmas cookies are a separate affair. I make some more of the white chocolate chip macadamia nut ones, but not near as many. Also make the frosted sugar cookies and whatever else occurs to me. This year I learned a fabulous new recipe for something that is not really a cookie per se, but if you like chocolate, you will LOVE these things. I got the ingredients, so I'm going to give a try to making them.

Good evening everyone. What a busy, busy weekend!! Finished my Christmas shopping yesterday, wrapped all the gifts last night, did some baking after that. Today was lunch with past co-workers of mine. Came home and put up the tree, got it decorated, put out some other Christmas decoration, got dinner for the family, did a couple loads of laundry, and finally now it's time for me to kick back and RELAX!!!
Yeah it was fun, though I wouldn't have said that yesterday while shopping. The stores were full of people, parking lots jammed packed, crazy insane drivers on the roads. I was never so glad to get home! Wondered if I was gonna make it back in one piece.
I got some shopping done today- it was pretty painless. Even tho the packers totally blow this year, the legions of faithful are usually strapped to their tvs for the game- a good time to get shopping done.

At least you're not one of those last-minute shoppers out there on Christmas Eve an hour before the stores close scooping up any old thing to give out as gifts.
Oh boy, you better get a good night's sleep the night before, eat a breakfast made for champions, have a list and a plan of attack all worked out. Next weekend will be even crazier than what I went through yesterday!
