RE: Sunday - Fun Day!

Hi all! I'm just wrapping up a little laundry before I wrap presents...neither one is a favorite task of mine, so I'm trying to nibble off a little at a time. I feel good I have the majority of my Christmas shopping done, though, so I can just dig into my Christmas movies, have a ****tail, and enjoy in days to come! Yay!

clap.gif Me too Sandy! I LOVE watching ABC Family Channel's 25 Days of Christmas, too. What's your favorite Christmas movie?

I love Christmas Vacation......funny stuff!  I also love It's A Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story, and How The Grinch Stole Christmas....both versions.

I no longer get to watch the 25 days of Christmas on ABC Family, and I really miss it this year. cry  I loved the one about Dolly Parton being an angel; also liked the one where the woman places her Christmas wishes in a box in a store and they come true.  Another one was about a mother and daughter.....they move into this guy's house for Christmas...I think it was called A Family For Christmas.  Gosh G-gal....I have tons of favorite Christmas movies, I just don't remember the titles. hmm

What are your favorites??

JD - there's never enough time to watch ALL the Christmas movies, but it's OK...I'll get my fix. Oh, and the skivs are folded. laughing.gif

Sandy, I have sooooo many I love, but there's a small stack of must watch movies that mean a lot to me:
Holiday Inn, White Christmas, Bels fo St. Mary's
One Magic Christmas, Twas the Night Before Christmas, Snow
Prancer, A Christmas Story, Scrooged, Elf
How the Grinch Stole Christmas, A Charlie Brown Christmas
Rudolph, Santa Claus is Comin to Town, The Little Drummer Boy

I'm sure I missed a few must-watches, but these are high on the list.

Funny, isn't it? The buddhist Chrsitmas movie junkie! giggle.gif

Every now and again I will watch Christmas Vacation. It is funny. LOVE How The Grinch Stole Christmas. About the only other one I will voluntarily watch is the original version of A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim.

Hey... just thought of another thread... What is your favorite Christmas Song?

I just watched the original A Christmas Carol last night after I got everything done.  I agree.....that one is the best!!

G-gal, I also love all of those that you mentioned.  I watched Rudolph this morning, haha.  Holiday Inn is great!  So is White Christmas!  I agree with your list.....those are "must watch" Christmas movies/shows.  biggrin

I think I'm gonna call it a night. While I was listening, I downloaded my Bob Rivers Christmas albums. Can't wait til I get to the office tomorrow so I can burn them to CD. I left all my blanks there. hmm.gif Good luck to all who are encountering the bad weather. Hopefully talk to you tomorrow. smile.gif
