I had a great Christmas!! Got some clothes, gift cards, AC/DC's new cd, a couple of nice gifts sets from Bath & Body Works, and a few new books.  I bought myself Rock Band 2 today with one of the gift cards. biggrin

We spent Christmas Day hanging out at home playing the new video games my girls got.  In fact, we've been jammin' every day since. laughing.gif I found out I'm much, much better on the guitars than the drums.  Dang drums are hard!!!.......either that, or I can't keep time for beans. laughing.gif

How 'bout you JD??

I gave my kids some Wal-Mart and Home Depot gift cards.... they are always broke this time of year. Gave Pambo a singing Hoops & Yoyo card, cookies, and a Macy's gift card so she will go shopping with me. nod.gif Gave my other best friend a gift certificate for dinner and a show at the local dinner theater and a bunch of cookies for him and his wife. My granddaughter got Tinker Bell stuff, grandson Marshall got a mini robot and a Cars race track. Walker got Magnetex and a soccer ball. Momma got a Barnes & Noble gift card. My sister got some espresso pods to go with her new machine. Also sent Dylan some cookies because he seemed to enjoy the ones he got for Thanksgiving so much.

What I got: From Doug I got a pair of Chiefs tickets and an option on a back massage. From Momma I got the $ for the washer and dryer I had to buy. From the rest of the family, I got skull socks, a couple Harley shirts, a pair of earrings, one of those wrap blankets, some Debbie Myers green bags, and a pair of really soft black socks and a little angel bear. From Secret Santa SG a really rockin' Santa Flamingo. From Fuzzy a different pair of skull socks... you rock, Fuzzy!

I'd say it was a pretty good Christmas. Presents aside, I got to spend time with my kids, my grandkids, my mom, my two best friends in the world, and even my brother. My phone was blowing up all Christmas day long with text messages from other friends. There is nothing better than feeling a little loved just because someone decided to say hi.

Spending time with my girls in an unscheduled, relaxed atmosphere is what I love the most about Christmas.  I really enjoyed having them both at home for the past couple of days. smile  And being around my 2 brothers too.....sometimes I forget how much fun they are to hang out with!!

Oh I had a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas eve was spent at my folks where I was able to lay some fun gifts down for my nephews ages 4 and 2. It was fun to see them overwhelmed with cool toys. Nice ham dinner. Got back late and had a nice late christmas eve with my girlfriend.

Christmas day we got up, went to curly-sues grandmas house and had ham and exchanged gifts. then we went to my grandmas house and exchanged gifts and ate lasagna. then, just like last year, we ended up at curly sues other grandparents house and I drank red dog in a heated garage with her grandpappy, and home made sangria with her grandma and great aunt. it was a bunch of fun! busy. but fun!

I got a lot of great gifts. I needed jeans and dress pants. got em. being a buddhist, I have an altar here and received some really really beautiful wooden candle holders to make it complete. some nice pull-over sweaters. like $30 in starbucks cards....smile.gif a gift card which was used towards a smoked turkey for new years eve.....a best buy card, a restaurants.com gift....a bottle of cognac........a book I've wanted to get for awhile....it was really a nice holiday.....smile.gif

Hey there! I had a great Xmas too! It was so nice top spend time with everyone, to see them enjoy being together. There's more than a couple places to go for celebrations between Xmas Eve and Day, and each one has a different flavor. I love them all!

I got just what I wanted most - a new 4G iPod Nano and a sound dock for it! I had a lot of other wonderful gifts, too, but that was my favorite.

Those are very nice G-gal.  I know you'll enjoy it a lot!  smile

Glad you were able to spend time with your family.  I'm sure they were all glad to see you.....grandparents always look for "the kids" to visit, no matter how old the kids are.

Yeah, the grands are always thrilled to have us around, and it's good to see them and contribute to them enjoying the holidays. Sometimes life just gets going so fast that I don't spend as much time with them as I should, so it's nice to share that.

Sorry I've been a bit quiet, I'm just getting caught up on work stuff tonight whileI enjoy teh shows. One of my faves is on, Ella's "What are You Doing New Year's Eve." clap.gif

I forgot the where'd ya go and what did ya eat... Monday I had Chilis soup, salad, and chips with Pambo. Tuesday, hung out at Starbucks with Doug... hot cocoa and cookies. lick.gif Christmas Eve as I mentioned in another thread, I went with the kids and the wuzband to the ex-inlaws. I don't care much for the ex-MIL's cooking, so I had a ham sandwich before we got there. Picked at some of the side dishes there, which I got some static from the wuzband for... but he ate the shrimp... some of which wasn't so good and ended up regretting it for the rest of the night and Christmas day. (Karma is a mofo!) Christmas morning, I had biscuits and sausage gravy with the kids, then later that day went to my brother's for pizza with him and mom. Steak and baked potato later on that night. smile.gif

Christmas Eve was nice. We went to the church candlelight service and then came home and had some potato soup and our own little family Christmas.

Christmas day, we went to my "step sister's" house. She and my dad's wife cooked up a prime rib with a ton of other goodies to go along with it. It was good.

For gifts, my dad gave me 50 bucks, and half a dozen frozen Runzas.

We still have one Christmas to go on New Year's day with my grandmother. She'll probably give a little cash too, but I wish she wouldn't as I know she doesn't have any extra to give.

Thats it for me.
