Sorry Sparky, the Mexican Radio song is probably my fault, I request it from time to time!
I don;t have a particular song that sticks, but my wife and I frequently quote 80s songs as lines from them come up in the course of regular conversation. Our kids are gonna think we're pretty wierd when they learn to talk and can understand us....
Lately, I've had Jimmy Buffet's "Everybody's Got A Cousin In Miami" stuck in my head. But I've foundthat I get songs stuck in my head very easily. The other day, I also had "Oh Yeah" stuck in my head.
I know what you mean about the lime in the coke, you nut. My kids think that is hillarious and are constantly singing it. And fighting about it. My 4 year old swears it's coconut and my 10 year old HAS to correct her. The fight ensues. I really need to write and tell Coke thanks for that one.
I have the song with Tim McGraw and Nelly stuck in my head. I heard a clip of it as I was passing through my bedroom and it's stuck now. Don't know the title, just keep hearing that one phrase. Ugh!

That would be a BAD song to have stuck in your head for days!! That might very well call for professional help!!
A song that I've had in my head for days is Closer To The Heart by RUSH- especially Geddy Lee's shrilly parts...."closer toooo the HEAAAAAAAAAEARRT YEAAAAA!" I sometimes sing this out loud at work (not in the office) and sometimes I can get 1 or 2 participants to sing along with me!

This one time, in band camp...I mean track practice in high school, I had Cecilia by Simon and Garfunkel in my head, so I started singing it out loud during stretches. Several people joined in, and somehow we knew all the words. Quite surreal now that I think about it.
One day in college I walked into class and said "Does anybody really know what time it is?", and several people answered "Does anybody really care?"! 'Course, a few people looked at their watches and gave me the time.....
A really annoying song that I have had stuck in my head (you will all hate me for telling you this)...ready is "The Song That Never Ends" from Lambchop.
I totally get Lovin' Every Minute Of It by Loverboy stuck in my head!!! So of course I just requested it!
I was talking about Loverboy the other day and one of the "younger" folks in my office had the nerve to say "who, is that one of those oldie groups"! Yikes! I could have totally strangled her born in the late 80's butt!!!
But she couldn't name any of the Beatles either so you know the young!
Ok, I'm taking the 1000 post dive and I'm using Cheif Frameologist for now (may change at some point).
I just HAD to say I HATE IT when people don't know who bands from the 80's are. I can't beleive I've progressed to THAT part of my life. I've BECOME my father! I remember all the times he would mention a band that I never heard of and say "THAT was good music"
I totally feel ya man! Of course for my dad it was Johnny Cash which I still love but the youngsters have no appreciation for really great music!
Oh, you know the other song that gets stuck in my head! Rock me Amedeus by Falco! Weird how he switchs from german to english in the middle of lyric! he he he What a Nut! Oh and anything by Adam Ant!
Soft Cell's Tainted love gets stuck in my head but it's the version from the Cone Heads movie. Really monotone and anoying. It's time to Snarfle the Garthok!!!!

This time it wasn;t me who requested it, I swear! Actually, I woke up this monring singing "lime in the coconut", and my wife thought I was going crazy!
