Just your typical Nebraska Cornhusker fan.

I had to find one for Web the other day.  smile.gif

They are playing a local fave tomorrow. But I am not partial to Clemson or USC.

I think they just brought it back not long ago.

Hey, as far as watery, mostly tasteless beers go, PBR ain't half bad!

I mean, you know, PBR isn't a "starter" beer.

You gotta start with MGD or Budweiser, then when your buzz is going and you're not really in it for the flavor anymore you switch to PBR to keep the buzz going at a discounted price.

rofl.gif Every now and again the office gang goes to Old Chicago for happy hour on Fridays because they have a beer special where if you buy the pick at a slightly higher price, you get to keep the cool glass that it comes in. Eventually PBR night came around. The guys agreed to drink one for the glass. I bought one too (as usual) though I don't drink beer. One of the guys always drinks it for me... they actually did rock, paper, scissors over who was going to drink mine because they were all pretty grossed out. laughing.gif The loser texted me the next morning fussing about his hangover.

The first time I ever got drunk was on PBR.

Then I ended up in the back seat of a car driving around town. I threw up as we went past the police station.

That was the first, and last time I drank enough to get sick.

Wow Web got drunk! I am shocked. Not in a bad way... I got drunk and threw up keg beer when I was 15. That was my last beer. Do you or your wife ever drink anything alcoholic?

Ugh, I've had my drunken days too. I wasn't as smart as web though. My drunk phase lasted about three years.

I have horrible memories of drunk driving (crazy stupid of me, I know) and having waitresses serve me my 3:00 AM plate of shrimp only to throw up on it. bleh.gif

Glad those days are deeply buried in my past.

I can honestly say I have only had one beer in my entire life. My brother gave me a Coors Light. I couldn't even drink it! It made me sick to my stomach. The first time I ever got drunk was courtesy of my mom... Christmas Eve when I was 13... she came home with a bottle of peach schnapps and a jug of orange juice. Christmas Day 1983 was my first hang over. giggle.gif First time I got sick from drinking was a few years later... the night before my sister's first wedding. I was quite a sight the next day... a lovely shade of green skin accented my fluffy pastel pink bride's maid gown. rofl.gif

I've really only got sick from drinking once. And that's due to listening to other people on what to drink. I had always drank Southern Comfort and Coke. Several people told me to mix it with Mt Dew instead. Oh man was I sick that night! I still can't drink SC but my love of Mt Dew remains somehow!

Never acquired the taste for it. Honestly, I don't even like the smell of it.

I don't usually care for beer either, but every once in awhile they taste good to me.

My problem was I mixed stuff too much. I'd go out and have beers and Jack n' cokes, then start mixing in shots. The shots always put me over the edge.

I've tried Southern Comfort and I like it, but I keep going back to Jack.

Now though, if I drink 2 Jack n' Cokes every four or five months that's a lot.

Jack & Diet is generally what I drink in the way of adult beverage. Sometimes tequila. Mixing the two is a really bad idea. Things get crazy.

Mixing alcohols never agreed with me. I always feel ill the next day when I do that. Once I start on one thing, that is all I will drink. And no shots for me, though I did do one last week- Van Gogh- coffee vodka.

I rarely will mix alcohols. It's never good. Did get conned into a couple Cuervo shots Monday night at the Christmas party. Fortunately that went well for me.

I didn't drink through high school at all. Not that I was such a "good boy", but I kind of liked my butt where it was. I knew if I ever came home drunk or even got caught drinking my dad would kick my butt up into my chest.

I didn't drink until my first year at tech school.

I got drunk plenty of times after that, but never so drunk that I'd not be able to remember something  the next day. At tech school there was a party every Thursday night. I would always reach a point to where I knew that if I drank any more I'd be sick so I'd quit.

My wife will still have a glass of wine now and then with dinner. I haven't had a drink in a long time. I think the last beer I had was sitting in the dark on a neighbor's porch probably five years ago. Its not that I'm a total prude about having a beer now and then, but I just don't have a desire for it any more.
