No Place Else Is Better

It is our Main Ace In The Hole, Jeremy Riggs, who initally took the development of Freeze Frame Radio seriously, and really understood the potential of  a whole new genre of broadcasting via the Internet.

Riggs established the the ground-work and theme of the station, where there would be no rules other than creating a collective listening experience filled with happiness, nostalgia, interactivity & diginty . These are the simple elements of better radio which is non-commerically driven.

While I can jump up and down with an ad-sign, but without the purity of objectivity, I have scouted Live365 since my invitation to join Freeze Frame, and I can wholeheartedly assure you, NOBODY AS MUCH AS JEREMY RIGGS HAS TRIED AND SUCEEDED, FROM THE GROUND LEVEL, AT CREATING THE BEST INTERNET RADIO STATION FOR OUR LISTENERS. WE HAVE THE MOST SONGS AVIALABLE FOR YOU TO REQUEST; WE DO SO WITHOUT WANTING ANYTHING OTHER THAN YOU TO COME BACK TOMORROW AND REQUEST YOUR SONGS AGAIN. We have created a great commoradere of international listeners via this community forum. This is not a labor seeking profit; but a labor of love for the music we grew up with, while remaining relevant, if not down-right cutting-edge, with the best pop songs out there today. Frankly, where else are you going to hear The Muppets, followed by Kid Rock, followed by John Denver, and all done so by request??

Riggs was internet savvy from day one, and what this station is, is the product of his vision, hard work, and love of fun, and sharing of that fun. I owe my broadcasting hobby career to his vision of creating a station based on the love of music, and the people who are here because of that.

I agree.  This is truthfully my favorite radio station of all time.  There is never enough variety and way too much commercialism on local radio stations, but internet radio stations are always so impersonal.  And where else can you talk to other listeners?

At home I can only receive a handful of radio stations and one TV station.  I wish I had a faster internet connection so I culd just wire Freeze Frame radio through my house!

I know what you mean, Sparky.  I was trying to think of a way that I could do that.  We need satellite radio for the internet so that I can listen to FFR in my car.

Rock on, JD.  You and Jeremy both rock.  Long live FFR.

Indeed. And being a fellow Milwaukeean, I am even more impressed and proud of Freeze Frame Radio and Jeremy.  You truly have made my working days less obnoxious, and far more enjoyable than I could have ever imagined. Your tireless work in bringing the songs that we request is to be applauded.

Thanks!

I love FFR! And I listen from about 7am to 4pm (CST) every work day. It's about the only way I can make with some of the goombas I get to work with! I would totally not make it through the day with out our fearless JR!

Thanks for all you do....now segue into You're the Inspiration, We are the Champions, or maybe more appropriatelly Friends in Low Places!

I herald the same trumpet.  I was out of town Wed and Thurs, and spent most of my time criss crossing on planes.  I was having FF withdrawls.  I searched live 365 for some time, and the Milwaukee caught my eye.  I thought I would give it a try and have been tuned in since.  Love the format and forum.  A great escape during a hectic day.

I think that it is great that even tho we all have our "biddness" to take care of, and that this might take us away from time to time from the fun we share as community members of freeze-frame, that we have all found this to be a nice fun GREAT lil' oasis to visit, & to help us get through the work week! & even if you have to leave for awhile, you know that the rest of us look forward to your return.
