To top it off... I just heading out to start the grill. Pork chops, garlic mashed tatoes and squash! Not all on the grill. Just the chops. I might have my jazz playing. Might have a refreshment. I'm not sure. (I lie, alot)

It's all good! I've been trading slaps with D all game long. It's lookin' good for me winning our side bet. AND I just heated up one of my favorite dinners... Red Beans & Rice with Andouille Sausage. We'll see how this last quarter goes. Gonna tune in the jazz pretty soon here.

yummy! Well, the grill thing didn't work. We're just broiling. A couple of weeks back, my charcoal chimney fell apart. I've yet to repair it. So, no fire tonight. Good food, good company anyway. I think I'm just chillin with Mrs. tonight. I tape a pile of old stuff off the t.v. last night. A 1959 Horror movie. When I get the name, I'll post it.

They keep changing our forecast, so I honestly don't know what to expect. Tomorrow is supposed to be snow and rain in the morning with a high in the low 40's. What do you do with that?

Hot Cocoa and popcorn, chocolate, butter, and salt, perfect combo. Too bad I can't have popcorn. But my hot cocoa is probably better, I make it from scratch instead of from a mix.
I just got a notice that it's supposed to be "dangerously cold" here Tuesday through Thursday too. I've already got my outfit planned for Thursday even! Warm, yet sophisticated. Now, I just have to figure out what I'll wear for the rest of the week!

Yesterday, we were in Walmart and Mrs Web needed to use the bathroom before we started the hour drive back home.
She said she was in a stall and someone came into the stall next to her. She didn't think anything about it.
Then, she heard what sounded like a guy standing up and peeing. She looked and she said it was a pair of pretty ugly boots and the toes were pointed the wrong way for the women's bathroom. She decided to wait and let that person go before she left. She never did know if it was a confused guy, or a cross-dresser.
Welcome to Walmart. Need a cart . . . help with gender identity?
One of my wife's bank customers gave her a cloth bag a couple days ago. It is about 10" x 12" and open on one end like a pillow case, only it has a bit of a flap to keep it loosely closed up when its in use. Its two layers of fabric and it feels like it has a little bit of thin batting in between the layers.
She told my wife to use it to microwave potatoes for baked potatoes. We tried it tonight. OH MY GOODNESS did that help! They came out just like they had been wrapped in foil and baked in the oven. I could not have told you they were microwaved. Usually microwave baked potatoes get a little "funky" but this simple bag really worked great to make them come out "normal".
So Web, I had to look that up, and found quite a few patterns for it. It's basically just a quilted bag. I wonder how that makes the potatoes cook better?
I really don't know unless its just holding in the heat and moisture better?. Whatever it does, it sure helps. I asked my wife again and she said she you don't poke the potatoes, just wrap them in a paper towel, then put them in the bag.
We had four baseball-sized potatoes in there, microwaved them for four minutes and they came out great.
