Monday - Back to the grind

oh man. back to the grind indeed. toeday will be another long day for me. but then I have normal days tuesdays and wednesdays.

I need to begin to work out again too. haven't done much since boot camp class. I let my gym membership expire because I just wasn't using it. I have some equipment here and a big area in the basement that I can use to work out, so I will try that.

I'm here at work but I feel completely wiped from the drama of being flooded again. My in-laws are leaving this morning for Arizona. My x bro-in-law will be back tonight to stay.

right now I need to eat my cereal. It finally hit me that I was hungry.

And I've decided, if I break my record and get down to a weight that I haven't been since I turned 20 (no, I'm not naming the weight), and can keep it there for at least a couple weeks, I'm buying me a Wii and Wii Fit. This goal is only about 15 pounds. But I've never really rewarded myself for losing any of the weight that I have in the past couple years, so even though it's an expensive reward, I think it's a good one. And it would theoretically help me keep the weight off.

Morning all. Fighting a headache myself. Going to have some tylenol and a cup of tea. That should help. And then a lot of water since I know my fluid levels are pretty low and that is probably the cause of my headache.

What a football weekend. With the yucky weather here Saturday, I spent the late afternoon and evening wathcing football, eating and working on the puzzle. Way to be lazy!

Let me just say, how about those Eagles?

The game may not have been the prettiest, but they won. I was surprised that the Titans played so badly in the red zone. They could have and should have won that game. I really didn't expect the Panthers to lose.

Good luck with achieving your weight goal Mz. I think you deserve to reward yourself and you are right, I think it will help keep it off and will give you some cross training.

Morning all. I finally drug it into the office this morning. Big case of the "I don't wanna's" . I'm not sure if logging into work at home in the morning is a good move or not. Generally I catch a dumb question really early and it makes me dread the rest of my day.

I agree, Fuzzy... it was an interesting weekend of football watching. The Panthers completely choked. The Eagles did manage the win... you think they will go all the way now? The Steelers finally got it together for the win after trading the same 3 points back and forth for most of the first half.

I don't know Mema. The Eagles were lucky the even made the playoffs. They didn't deserve to go they way they played in some simple, key games during the season. It was just important that they beat the Giants yesterday. I am glad they have the opportunity and hope the win the NFC chanmpionship. This will be a different AZ team that they will be playing than on Thanksgiving. I think it would be neat to have an Eagles-Steelers Superbowl this year. It also would be cool if the Eagles went ahead and won same said superbowl. That championship following a Phillies championship would be huge. Yes, I may lose my bet, but it would be worth another celebration.

We're bracing for a bitter cold snap that they say is gonna be really really brutal. THey said on the news last night we haven't seen these kinds of temps and wind chills in a couple years. YAY!

I actually used to sit on a yoga ball at work. But I didn't realize how dependent I was on the rollers on my chair. Having that ball was like having a stationary chair, and it got in the way.

It must be a sight whenever someone comes upon someone sitting on a ball and startles them. They lose their balance and you know they are going over. There is no stopping that. That has to hurt a bit when you hit the floor. You know an office rug doesn't have the padding underneath like at home.

My easy, quick example is the backround on the computer. It is the moon. So if the one guy walks by, for some reason all my windows are reduced and the moon is visible, you know what the comment is. "Nice moon."
