oh how my apt complex is gonna be the death of me. Their lack if communication is truly astounding!

Anyways instead of one of them showing up, a carpet guy came in to investigate the smell. he went straight into the hall closet and ripped the padding out and said about 3 times how it smelled like cat pee. He had different carpet guy come out and re clean it all with some enzyme. He said maintenance was gonna have to get us new padding. Oh and they set up a fan to dry the floorboards and carpet.

So we still have not been able to address other issue since lack of communication! furious

No, I was uncomfortable enough physically, I wasn't ready to talk about that.  Second, she squeezed me in, so I didn't want to take up more of her time.  Third, I know the hives weren't caused by nerves, so I didn't want to go down that road.

Wednesday night I went to a pizza place called Max's for a dinner with a group I'm involved with.  I had a salad with no dressing, thinking that would be safe.  For one reason or another, I guess it wasn't.  I'm guessing it was the roasted red peppers, they were probably out of a can and had corn syrup in them.

Woo update:

I leave in an hour to see my Bloody Valentine 3D! w00t.gif

We are getting one month rent free due to the flood and now that they realize how severe it was

Carpet peeps will be back on Tuesday to due more stuff to get rid of the odor. So hopefully things are looking up!

For a months free rent they could flood your apartment every thirty days or so hey? wink.gif

You know I tuned in to Supernatural last night because you guys have been talking about it. I tried watching once before but didn't get hooked. When I hear last nights was about a haunted house it seemed right up my avenue. I did like it, but don't know if I'm hooked or not.

HOWEVER, the commercials they were running for My Bloody Valentine were interesting. I remember how much the original spooked me as a kid. I also thought one of the women in it looked like Kimberly Williams. So much so that I looked the movie up on IMDB to see if she was in it. She's not. Darn. hmm.gif

IMO last night's episode was kinda off. That is not common. I'm telling ya if people would just give it a chance, it is SOOOOO good! A lot of Buffy fans like it. I've been rewatching Season 1 since I now have all the Season DVD's and it's still good. I remember being hooked from the pilot.

Come for a visit JR, we'll do a marathon! Or go rent the DVD. GO!  GO! biggrin

What's the basic plot line of the series Woo?

When I tried to watch it last time I just got the feeling that it wasn't something you could really enjoy joining it in mid-series. But last nights seemed like a self-contained episode.

I used to love the X-Files, but my favorites were the stand-alone episodes. They mythology ones got hard to follow and if you missed a few you were really out of the loop.

i have a hard time saying stuff without giving plots away but here is what the "Are You Watching Supernatural? site on Youtube says:

Supernatural is a show about two brothers Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) who travel the states hunting spirits, demons and creatures of urban legend. It starts as a quest to find their father and the demon who killed their mother, but soon turns into a dangerous ride as new troubles surface and more evil creatures appear.

This show is a cleverly plotted, exciting and dramatic as well as being lots of fun. If you want to give this great series a try, then tune in on The CW, Thursdays at 9/8c.

Wow. That sounds like it would be exactly the type of show I enjoy. I'm surprised I've missed out on it. Must be because it's on the CW.

I have to watch some on Netflix (I think they have it available for online viewing there) and see if I can get hooked. I'm down to only about three shows I watch every week now. I need something new.

I really think a lot of people would love this show. I remember seeing the pilot promo and saying: I have to see this!

ok here is a promo that AYWS made. They make better promos than the CW!

It does give some story away but it is still relevant today:
