So I left in the afternoon to see the 2:50 showing of My Bloody Valentine 3D. My hubby had went to go get the girl so she could see it too. As me and Ghost have mentioned, the weather sucks. Roads and people were horrible! On top of that there was an accident and a car was on fire so our route to the theater was being detoured. It's 2:40 and we realize that we are gonna miss the start of it. So I call the theater and ask if I can trade these tickets in for the 5:10 showing. (We bought online) She puts me on hold and it doesn't sound good but she makes it happen.
My husband decides to let the girl go shopping in Flint. She needed a winter coat and an exchange of something. i told him that I didn't want to be rushed for this showing. We went to every friggin' store and she found a coat in one of the 1st stores we passed! errrrr!
We get back on the road at 4:10 (I still have not ate anything) and we are fighting more morons. We get on the expressway and it stops! We ended up getting off but still had to fight with all the people in 4x4 vehicles that apparently didn't know how to use that feature and were driving 30 MPH!!!! We made it but it was like it wasn't meant to happen.
the girl loved the movie! It was fun to see her freak out at times. It brought back memories of freaking her out during the Supernatural episode "Asylum" back in season 1 She said she is still mad at us for that- lol
She said that she just wished the movie had opened on Valentine's Day weekend which was it's original date but due to Friday The 13th it got changed. I told her how they didn't want the films to compete and Supernatural fans to have to choose between Jensen and Jared and the girl said " What choosing? You go to both!!"

Why is it that teenage girls have to hunt the entire mall for something, only to end up buying what they saw in the first store they were in??? Both of my girls do that! Grrrrrrr!!!!
Glad you were able to see it a second time this weekend, and that the girl liked it too!
well she didn't actually go to the store the first time around. She made bee-line for American Eagle and hit all the trendies after late and actually found a coat in an outlet store. I was surprised she even liked it just for that reason- lol
