I had a dream last night where I was at a party and David Bowie showed up.  Nobody harassed him or anything, and he kinda just made the rounds talking to everyone at the party.  I remember that I kept trying to get his attention without acting like an idiot, but he just wouldn't come over and talk to me, and every time I went to talk to him, by time I got over there, he was somewhere else.  The major event at the party was this indoor mountain climbing bunjee jumping thing, where you have to climb on this series of pillars until you get to the top one, and then you jump from it.  I did it very well and was hoping I would impress him enough to talk to me.  Then I finally gave up and decided to go home.  So I got in my car and he was sitting in the passenger's seat!  I turned on the radio and we drove around listening to music and talking.

It was a very enjoyable dream.  I wish I wouldn't have woke up from that one.

My last David Bowie dream was a few weeks ago.
Let's just say----- we were not driving    biggrin.gif

My dream last night starred Barry Manilow.

I was walking around a highschool (Probably because we watched "Elephant", which took place in a high school a few nights ago.) And my sister was also a student, and walking the hallways with me. And I saw my old friend there, who was in a class looking at a computer. I went over and talked to her, and the teacher didn't mind at all, which was weird.

Then I went into the chorus room (always my very favorite room in the whole school) and people were in there singing. I picked up some sheet music and joined in. It was an uptempo standard, which I knew the basics of, and then I noticed that the guest teacher was Barry Manilow!! I went searching for my camera, and thought I probably won't have time to get a station ID, but I canNOT let him go without getting a picture. How cool is this?!

After the song was over, he said goodbye and the class thanked him, and surprisingly, I was the only one who walked up to him afterward. I asked for a picture, and he said normally, he always says yes, but he's really in a hurry. I was bummed. He was nice, but I was bummed. So I staked out a place near the exit, and waited to see if he'd go that way, and if so, if he'd be more willing to spend a minute with me.

I'm such a stalker, even in my dreams. hmm.gif
