I've never been downhill snow skiing either. thats ok tho. I've had several cousins come back with broken legs, and had seen that agony of defeat footage a bit too much to ever really want to try that.

I've done
skiing. many oceans. the trip to Europe changed my "never" list.

I did downhill skiing with the high school ski team. I was more a mascot (and drug mule) No big hills. Sunburst was the biggest.
Hunting, only once. I sat in a tree stand. My friends were actually hunting. Even in the backyard, I had troubles if I would connect with a squirrel when I threw a rock.disbelief

Remember in gym class in grade school when the gym teacher had kids climb a rope to the ceiling? I never in my life succeeded in doing that. I was terrified and lacked the arm strength.

I've never officially hunted. My father did teach me to shoot at people targets. hmm.gifweirdface.gif Hazard of growing up in Chicago I suppose.

I've fired apparently most of them that are legal to own in this country. I've also shot a regular arrow and a crossbow. weirdface.gif Most of them at people targets. Donald was both paranoid and a believer in being prepared.

I think I've done all of those. (I wore a slip in fifth grade as part of my Girl Scout leader costume, kinky)

I finally got to see the Statue two Decembers ago. It was the 14th. Brrr. But, you know, she's impressive. We went to the Top of the Rock also. Super cool checking out New York during the holidays.

I used to shoot bow and arrow.  My friend and stepdad both had compound bows, but I like using a recurve or long bow.  It was just target practice, but I like the bonding with history part of it.

All that was considered mandatory "pre-K" training in the house I grew up in. If you couldn't field strip a handgun, you sure didn't have time for anything as fiddling as hopscotch.
