Hello. I'm here early. I thought I was leaving early too but got my days confused. I feel a little better at the moment but I really think that my cold is just shifting to other places. i think coughing will be next.

Day off today....using one of my carryover days from 2008...have to wait for the termite annual inspection...then to the gym for a workout then.....relax!

I'm running disk defrag. not that i"m having problems, just that its been awhile.

Not laid off from the bank (yet) either. It appears these positions are neccesary.

The day is shaping up to be an ugly day. I am cranky and people are stupid. Well, that is just how I feel anyway. It may be or may not be true.

Tuesday for me? Uneventful so far. I get my final review for 2008 today. Not that it makes a difference pay-wise. All salaries are frozen.

Outside it's misting ice & a little sleet-ish stuff coming down. Hating the weather BIG TIME!

I got into work late because of my doctor's appointment, which isn't a big deal. But a coworker is trying to blame all her mistakes on me, as soon as she walks in the office. (Notice, I said I was late, but she walked into the office after I got here.) Luckily, I think everyone else knows it wasn't me. But in addition to the doctor's appointment, I'm just not in the mood to deal with her today.

Speaking of fun: the doctor's appointment was a skin test for food allergies. So now, I have to take these foods out of my diet for 2 weeks, then introduce them back in one at a time to see if I react to them. So for two weeks:
No pork
No corn
No banana
No lettuce or spinach
No bell peppers
No potatoes
No almonds
No egg whites
No garlic
No yeast
No COFFEE
No CHOCOLATE!!!!

Which means I may be allergic to any of those things.

If I'm allergic to chocolate on top of everything else, just shoot me.

I just got back from stopping at the local bakery. They got a machine in there that makes Cappuccino or hot chocolate. I got the vanilla cappuccino.

Better than any I've had from McDonalds or several other places. This stuff is just as rich and creamy as a Starbucks but only $1.19 for a huge cup.

I stopped at Dylans last night and spent an hour or so chatting with him. Seems like he's doing pretty well. Thursday is the funeral.

Hey all... been at the office for a while dealing with some craziness. As Pambo mentioned, it is cold and snowing here. The roads aren't bad, just slushy.

We are having a team lunch today to bid farewell to our outgoing supervisor. Coincidentally it is also Thomas Crapper Day.

Hi all.  It's a pretty day outside today....even though it's only 14.  The sun is out so it feels warmer than what it is.  They're saying we may hit 40 in a couple of days.

I had to call my daughter's school this morning.  Yesterday she came home and said her band teacher told them "the school administration says from now on, you aren't allowed to wear any hoodies to school unless it has the school's name on it. Any student caught wearing any other type of hoodie will be receive an ISS....In School Suspension.  The administration says as band members, you are representing the school, therefore, only hoodies with the school name can be worn."  Well, I talked to the adminstration this morning, and they all said the band teacher is over-stepping his authority; they have not issued anything like this, nor do they plan on doing so.  Apparently, they had already received a lot of phone calls this morning, and they are very upset with the teacher for saying something like this and trying to pass it off as coming from the administration. They said he's going to face some kind of a reprimand.  All I wanted to know was if it was true or not so I know what she can/can't wear to school.  I think the guy was a jerk to try to pass this off as coming from the school administrators.  He must've thought no one would call about it. 

Yes, a lot of them.  He used to be my oldest daughter's band teacher at the high school she went to.  My youngest goes to a different high school.  He applied for the band director's job there last year.  She wasn't happy to know that he was now going to be her teacher at that school.
