I just got back from the funeral for Mike's Mom. 

It was a great service.  The priest really did a nice job discussing Mike's mom and what kind of a person she was.

The flowers everyone chipped in on were there and very pretty.  Mike said to thank you all.  I'm sure he'll come on here and do it himself when he feels up to it, but he was touched that everyone cared enough to send them.

Oh, good, I'm glad they got there and were pretty. I'm glad that we could at least be there in spirit.

Although, you said flowers, and we ordered a plant. Was it a peace lily like we ordered, or do I need to give them a friendly call?

Ah!  In that case our plant looked AWESOME! 

I didn't go look at the cards.  I was talking to Mike and he just pointed at the plants.  There were only two where he pointed, one was on a small stand (the peace lilly) and one was on a high stand.

I just assumed he was pointing at the flowers (you know what happens when you assume).  But he must have meant the plant.

The plant looked very big and very green.  smile.gif

Thanks again Mz for all the work you did so we could have a plant there from all of us. smile  JR, I'm glad you were able to go to the funeral.  I know you would've been there anyway since you and Dylan are friends, but you were also representing all of us that couldn't be there today.  smile
