Some advice for Obama from the great philosopher Homer

The patriarch of the most famous family on television has said Mr Obama should abandon plans to print more money and instead focus on beer.

Homer said: "If I was President Obama for a day, I'd order the Treasury to stop printing money and start brewing beer. That would end this depression pretty damn fast!"

Well, he is declining the nomination now because of that mess. Although you have to love these guys who make a ton of money for doing next to nothing and don't pay their taxes. Plus, they get pensions. Great examples.

Things to teach your children - don't be like a senator or congress person.

I heard that a few minutes ago... now what about the rest of them? What really kills me is when they are on one of the committees in charge of writing the tax codes and STILL don't pay their taxes.

Another good Homerism - "Beer - the cause of and solution to all life's problems."

Another great philosopher...Ben Franklin: "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to prosper."

This is really one of his quotes!
