Missouri Sen. Kevin Engler does not like trash. Or white trash.

If youre thinking about littering in the district of Sen. Kevin Engler, R-Farmington, think again.

He sponsored a bill today, SB 273, that would penalize littering with the death penalty.

I think that if we kill just a couple of people we catch, the rest will catch on, he said.

He called the people perpetrating the littering white trash and rednecks.

Soon after, he clarified he was joking about the bill.

Im doing this tongue in cheek, obviously, he said, and withdrew the bill

Oh, don't get me wrong... I'd vote for the guy... but I'm not littering white trash or a redneck, which is a large percentage of the population of MO. Heck, I'd have liked to have summarily executed the wuzband every time he left American Cheese wrappers on the kitchen counter when the trash can was like 3 steps away. angered.gif
