Lunch, Weather, Medications?

I think I'm gonna go get a Subway Sub for $5- eat 1/2 of it now, and then the other half before I go to the bank so I'm not starving.

20 degrees and partly cloudy.

No meds. smile.gif

I ate some left over chili- we had shrimp ****tail, homemade chili and homemade brownies for E's birthday dinner!

It is only 35.

I am on the patch- Ortho Evra and I take 175 mgs of Levoxyl for my thyroid. I need some Xanax once in awhile too- imagine that!

French Silk Pie (left over from my birthday meal)

18 degrees and sunny, wind from the southeast

Blood pressure medication. Not sure of the name. Which reminds me, I gotta take it!

Oh, non prescription stuff everyday includes a multi-vitamin, 2,000 mg of Red Yeast Rice (for lowering cholestoral) and St. Johns Wart (to make me happier, but I don't think it does a darn thing)

I should try the flax seed oil.

I tried fish oil, but all day long I was burping up fish smell bleh.gif

With the Red Yeast rice flax seed or fish oil may be overkill though.

Still deciding on what to have for lunch. 49* and mostly sunny. Need to get back to taking vitamins, but I do generally take Tylenol PM to help me sleep.

Meds: I said none, but it is one if you count an occasional alcoholic drinking binge.

Although, I did think of another. If you count it as medicine - the one Web's son so nicely pointed out the other day in his needs and wants schoolwork. nod.gif

I'm glad you started this thread JD!

I needed more Red Yeast RIce and this thread got me thinking about it so I went to where I order my stuff (www.puritan.com) and it turns out they have a good sale going right now.

I got a six month supply ordered of Red Yeast Rice, Fish Oil and a daily multi-pack. Only $60 for all of it!

Hopefully thats just temporary.

I'm supposed to be on a Niacin pill for my cholesterol but when the prescription ran out, I was really tired of the hot flashes and thought I would see if I could manage it with just diet and exercise. Then I gradually quit exercising. hmm.gif

I plan to start the exercise routine back up again soon.

Yeah, I usually only need it a few days out of every month. Then I feel much better.

I guess I took the question from the "everyday" kind of basis.

I did a comparison of shopping carts and right now puritan.com is the better deal, but ordinarily their sisters site puritansale.com is a better deal.  It's the same stuff but with lower prices whereas the main site is gimicky with buy one at regular price get one free, etc.

In fact, if you're only ordering a bottle or two you're always better at puritansale.com.  But if you're ordering a six month supply you're better off at puritan.com.

Either of them has a coupon code you can use until March 31 to get another $5.00 off.  It's TACC560 in case anyone shops at either site.

Okay. If we go with the every day thing (which is what I originally went with) it is still none. But I am sure I should take some vitamins or something.

Hey - don't let Pambo in here. no.gif She is a walking pharmacy counter. And if she had to list everything, it might take her all day. Then she won't get anything done.

I had 2 tacos from Taco Bell for lunch along with a can of Coke.  It's 19 and cloudy outside.....we've warmed up considerably since this morning; it was -8 with a wind chill of -13 when I left for work.  The only meds I take on a daily basis is Vitamin C to ward off colds, but it hasn't been working for me this winter.  I'm currently on my 7th cold since October.  I can thank the germy school with the poor ventilaton system for that.

I had some leftover sweet & sour chicken experiment. It was quite tasty.

The weather sucks. At least it's sunny, but it's still only 23 degrees. Luckily, it's supposed to warm up this weekend. Hopefully it'll melt all the snow.

I take Sprintec for birth control, Naproxen when my hands hurt from carpal tunnel (which is rare anymore), and my doctor just put me on Singulair for the allergies. Singulair costs $128 a month, so I don't know if I'm going to keep taking it. Some websites say there's no generic for it, but then a Canadian pharmacy website offered a generic.

Yeah, I didn't suggest she respond to it. Before she had this nerve issue, she didn't take any meds. She would fall asleep from taking an aspirin. Now I don't know what all they have her on. Its crazy.

Oh yeah I take Allegra too. When I need to, which is becoming everyday.

You guys are right. I take about 30 pills of both prescription & over-the-counter meds every day. Too many to list.

My most interesting combination? Midol & Sudafed.

Better living through chemistry!!!! biggrin.gif

Decided on leftover chili for lunch. Didn't think of it before, but I take birth control pills(Ortho Novum). In my mind it lumps in with the Tylenol PM because I take them at the same time. Its on auto program.

Mema- that is the combo kind of negates each other. If you are passed out, kind of hard to get pregnant!wink

laughing.gif I don't sleep that hard. Not worried on getting pregnant anyway. My life currently lacks the requisite partner in that particular crime. laughing.gif
