it's 34 out and kinda sunny

No one is currently on my nerves but it always a toss up between teh annoying one who shares my office and the old biddy who is right outside our office.

I'm having an "everything" bagel with french onion cream cheese and some not so grate turkey.

Weather is better than it has been. It's 38 and partly sunny. It was supposed to get to 48, but I don't think it's going to make it. But it's supposed to get cold, snowy, and yucky later this week.

You know, we really need nicknames for these people in our office. I think I'm going to call my coworker that I always get frustrated with the Pain Pill Popper. I was being sympathetic the other day when my boss was frustrated with her and mentioned that I thought she might have ADD. My boss said she just takes too many pain pills. Now that she's mentioned it, I've been paying attention, and I think she's right. Pain Pill Popper is always complaining about one thing or another hurting, she always has doctors appointments, and she has multiple doctors (3-4 doctors at least). But that's not what bothers me about her, her lack of concentration and weak work ethic bother me.

yeah my beef with the lady up front is the 50 First Dates syndromw. EVERYday she asks the same questions, makes the same mistakes and drives us all crazy. She is my appointment setter and frustrates me that she can't keep a calendar. The newbie knows it all, has no friends and there is a reason why..

Pain Pill Popper tends to mis-remember. She'll insist, "You said you would..." or, "I put it right there..." when she said she would or still has the thing in her office. And then she makes a big fuss about how I screwed up, when it's usually her screw up that she's pinning on me.

I'm eating a tuna sandwich and a bowl of tomato soup. It's 36 and sunny, but as Woo said, snow is going to be moving in later tonight. I don't want to bury anyone, not even JR; I wouldn't have anyone to pick on if I buried him?? biggrin

Lunch was a ham and cheese sammich, soda, snack bag of cheetos and an orange.

Weather is sunny and 37 degrees. Yuckiness predicted for tomorrow.

As for burrying. Not today. I generally can deal with those around me, especially since I don't really work with them often. If I were going on a digging rampage, I would have to fly 3,000 miles across the county. And that may be considered premeditated. Although, the boss has driven me to that point before.

We call that "Etch-A-Sketch Syndrome"... while you are talking to the person if you listen carefully you can almost hear that sound like an Etch-A-Sketch drawing (squiggle, squiggle, squiggle), then when they walk away you can hear the SHOOKA SHOOKA SHOOKA of it erasing!

For lunch I had a salad while I was sitting over at Pambo's desk. It's about 40ish and cloudy outside. The list of people I would bury is LEGION. Rob the Knob across the wall from me has been coughing and sneezing (mouth uncovered) since yesterday. My new bosshole (the sup, not Ken) for many, many reasons. The guy who wants to be my boyfriend because he's acting like that again. One particular VP because he canned one of my favorite former directors for no good reason and kept a jerk. The jerk who was kept. The guy that Pambo and I call "buckethead".... I could go on and on.

Oh, I'll have to remember that term. Pain Pill Popper doesn't walk very fast, so I don't think she's erasing her drawing all the way before she draws over it.

We have a nice set of gestures that go along with the whole Etch-A-Sketch thing, so when one of us is actively speaking to a known "Etch", the others tend to stand in the background mocking.

Yep... Tech Dev is a bunch of bungholes... and we are proud of it.

Technically, a bunch of us are on the list, but no one has heard anything definite. She's not willing to gamble that it won't happen and began looking for something different about 2 weeks ago. She's still my boss, but maybe not much longer. smile
