Howdy.

In my eating better this week, all that "fruit and fiber" is doing its thing. Phew.

I get to go play bass for lunch today. Once a month, a church here in town has what they call "Sermons A-La-Carte". Local pastors take turns giving the message and that pastor's church also provides a lunch for all who attend. This month, its our pastor's turn and he asked us to go play a few songs. Pastor said "Its usually just a bunch of gray hairs", but it will still be fun to get out and do something different.

I'll see whats available for lunch there and then decide if I'll stay and eat, or go home and have more fruit and fiber.

I'm back into one of those moods where I get stressed easily. So I'm a bit tense today. Maybe I'll have some mint tea at soda time, and that will calm me down.

Mornin' all.

My dog saga is continuing. Two Sundays ago I thought she was looking at her final days, then steroid treatments seemed to help her. But I think we took her off of them too soon because she started acting funny again and last night her back was really bad. I gave her another dose of the steroids and today she's improved but not 100%. I only have two more doses of steroids that I can give her though, so I have a call in to the vet to see what they want to do.

That poor dog, she's had back pain almost since she was a year old. no.gif

Aw, poor Ellie.

Fuzzy, nope, I haven't tried that yet. I haven't run through all the other foods yet. I still have bananas, pork, green peppers, and almonds yet before I want to try corn and eggs.

Thanks guys. It has been hard because every time she gets an episode it could be the end. They shouldn't even be allowed to breed miniature dachshunds. I didn't know anything about them when I bought her, but since then I've learned that the back issues are extremely common in the breed.

My mother has the same dog and hers has had one back surgery already too.
