Loose teeth

Emily's front two teeth are loose! She is SUCH a blonde though! She woke up Tuesday and her teeth were pushed back, because they were loose. However, she told me that she was worried that the two teeth next to them were sticking out and she did not know why. I told her to wiggle the two middle teeth and her face lit up! Now it is look how loose they are now- every ten minutes! I was home with her Monday and Tuesday, I was glad to come back to work!

I remember those days though- I wiggled my teeth to death!

When they do fall out her tooth fairy thinks a dollar a tooth is reasonable.

How about you all? Memories of loosing teeth or the tooth fairy?

I lost my two front teeth on the swingset bar. And as hard as I tried (cuz they were in pieces) my mom still only gave me a qaurter a tooth. But with today's inflation a buck seems about right.

The tooth fairy wasn't very consistent in my childhood. She always gave me more when I lost a tooth at Grandma's.

Grandma had the hookup though. Santa even delivered some of my presents to me early and left them at her house.

If I recall correctly, the tooth fairy used to leave half dollar coins for us.

I'm not sure? Since she seems to grab any and all loose change laying around the house and takes it straight up to her piggy bank anyways! (My kid the money manager)

It will probably be a buck, seems fair.

I got a shiny new nickle for each of my teeth. except for the one tony gonzalas knocked out of me. I knocked one of his out too at some point- a tooth for a tooth.
We were friends by highschool.....

Well, around Saginaw the going rate is $5.00 for the very first tooth, then drops down to $1.00 per tooth, until the last one......that one is another $5.00.  I did this with my own girls, and from talking with friends of mine that have young kids,  that's still the going rate today.

When I was a kid it varied from a quarter to 50 cents.
