Spring Sunday!!

Good morning everyone,

It promises to be a beautiful spring day here in Vienna (blue sky, birds chirping ...) smile

It's sunday, so I'm planning on pretty much not doing anything but enjoying myself biggrin

Gonna check out a newly opened pub later on with a friend ... it's called the "Pancake Pub" (freely tanslated from 'Pfannkuchenwirt'). To those who didn't know yet, I LOOOVVVEE pancakes in all variations wink

Hope you all enjoy your sunday!

G'morning. yawn.gif

I'm getting ready to go to praise team rehearsal. I'm feeling the lost hour. I expect there will be some napping in today's future.

We got a dusting of snow during the night, but its not much.

I'm looking forward to the "25 Weeks" reports that will be coming in today. Its exciting to see how everyone did on their first week.

Sunday on.

Good morning all.  After an all day and all night rain, my yard is one muddy mess today.  My dog is having a field day in the small lake that formed during the night.

Last night I watched the movie "Australia."  It was ok, different than what I expected it to be, but I didn't like it well enough to buy a copy.

I hope my fellow Losers all had a good first week!  Even if the scales haven't changed much, think of all the good things you're doing for yourself right now by exercising and making better choices in what you're eating!!! smile

I went to see that Slumdog movie and had sort of the same reaction. It was good but, I wouldn't put it into the top movies I've seen category.
Sunday is sucky her. 36 degrees, rain and wind. I'm hitting the gym later. I need to work off an awesome brunch.
See ya later tonight.

Mornin' all.

It's not a pleasant day here. 32 and raining.

I'm excited about Daylight Savings Time kicking in. It's gonna be so cool to have it be light out until after 7 again! :)

Today's plans are pretty much the same as every Sunday. In a little bit I'll go get ham & rolls to take to Mom & Grandma's (don't worry fellow Losers, starting with last week I've cut down from two sammiches and some potato salad to one sammich, no salad. In fact, I even cut the mayo out of my sammich) and then I'm gonna sit with Grandma a while so my Mom can get out and do some stuff.

Later tonight (10:30) I have to go pick Erica up at the airport, she's heading back from San Diego. I bet she's just THRILLED to be leaving sunny & 72 for overcast & 32. smile.gif

I'm going by the internet temp. (probably the airport)

You'd think, higher taxes would get you folks a little nicer weather.

I will be in WestAllica this afternoon. Bally's.

What did you think about the 28 Tosa idiot that shot some dude in the face on 68th and Wisconsin Ave?

Ugh, it made me sick to my stomach. A little too close to home Squonk. I've passed by, even walked by, that intersection hundreds of times in my life.

They say Tosa had only one murder all of last year, and this was the first one this year.

I always hope you find out the two parties involved knew each other so at least it's not random violence. I'm sure by later today or tomorrow we'll know the answer to that.

drugs, money or infatuation. that's my guess. Balestrarie's doesn't need stuff like that going on so near.

We've had four shootings in the last 2 days here with 3 people dead and one in critical condition.  All 4 were on the west side of Saginaw (where I live and the side of town people consider to be "the good side of town).  In the first shooting, two 19 year olds were killed while in the car riding down a street; one of the shooters was shot & killed by the police.  Yesterday a guy was walking down the street in the middle of the afternoon and someone came up behind him and shot him......he made it to someone's porch and yelled for them to call the police.  They haven't caught the shooter.  Knowing the neighborhood where these took place at, I'm thinking all of them are drug related.  I told my 19 yr. old to stay the heck outta that neighborhood because it's become so violent during the past couple of months.

I thought it was a sinkhole or water main break. I was heading over to the ReStore shop  on Hawley via 68th (2pm ish). I had to turn east on Wells St because of a road block.

Got up, read, worked my arms out, went to church, went grocery shopping and heading out to a Scooby Doo treasure hunt birthday party. Should be fun! Be back maybe!

It is almost 80... gonna take the dog for a 5.2 mile walk too!

Good afternoon all. I woke up this morning to an interesting development. I barely have a voice. No fever, no sore throat, no headache, just a bit sinus-y but nothing major. Weird, huh? weirdface.gif

Guess I will be chilling out at the house all day. Seems like the thing to do.

Good day all.

I'm at my mom's house. (In fact my sister is reading this over my should right now.) (And giggling because I just typed that.) I did their taxes today, but that's about it. It's rainy and gloomy here, but the temp is in the 50s.

Would the "kids" say SOS (sister over shoulder)?
I'm so square.
As for the fifties, I do enjoy my RockABilly music but, I dig stuff from today also. My mom was a temp in the 60's

what a weird weather day here in wisconsin. besides the change of additional daylight due to the time change, it was sort of a mild day with plenty of cold rain that turned to sleet.

we both are stuck or choose to live somewhere where the weather is not what we prefer! I am a bit of both....my choice would be snow at least a change of seasons.
