Hi JR!! biggrin I'm doing good again this week.....feel great, eating healthy, and riding hard!

Yesterday I did slack off though.......I didn't ride at all.  I was tired and just couldn't make myself get on the bike.  But ya know what?  I felt bad all day because I didn't do it, so I made up for it today.  I rode for an hour this afternoon. smile

How are you doing?  I saw your goal.  Great idea!!!  You'll be burning up the miles and "seeing" the countryside along the way!! biggrin

I thought you were ignoring me sniff.gif

Glad it's going so well for you!

This week has been great. Like you I'm feeling great and the exercise has been super.

I did treat myself to ONE Girl Scout cookie today, but I figure one or two cookies every couple days is ok as long as I'm working out hard.

I'm very excited for weigh in on Sunday. Last week I struggled to get started, but I'm in the zone now.

Yeah, a cookie or two every now and then won't hurt you, especially since you're biking every day.

Glad to hear you've found the zone!!  It's always hard to get started, takes some adjusting and getting used to eating differently.  I've found tossed salads are my friend, especially if I want something to snack on at night while watching tv or reading.  I found a really good no-fat Italian dressing that I just love!  2 TBSPs is only 20 calories and is more than enough for a big bowl of salad.

I don't know if my loss will be as big as it was last week, but I am excited to see what the scales will say again. smile

So, what do you do while you're riding the bike?  Listen to music, watch tv, read???  I jam along to a local radio station......they rock hard in the afternoon and the music inspires me to keep up.

I've been watching the SciFi Channel while working out. We have a little 13" TV in the basement and the elliptical is right in front of it. It really helps to have something to help take your mind off the work.

I have to have LOUD music while I exercise, so I usually have the iPod on. Meatloaf songs are great for passing the time! nod.gif

Ghost, take it from a workout junky. You're well off with at least two days of rest. I've found that if I take a day off... my body has a great day, chowin'.

Wouldn't it be cool if we could all go for a ride together? I know, some day, that we could. Video-con stuff is so advanced. I just prefer the road for real. (dork)

Keep it up girl! Watch the greatest loser on Tuesday eve. the show keeps me in touch with why I run, bike, walk and  eat right (most days)

I've kept almost 30 pounds off for nearly four years. That included trips to New Orleans, Savanah GA, California, Europe etc. Totally done with the thought of "everything in moderation" including excersise. Eat good fun food. Just don't eat a **** load of it. I had some awesome nachos last night. I eat burgers at least once a week.
Don't even get me started about booze. Gin & Tonic, Vodka & Tonic. I think they make me lose  weight.evileye

Oh, presently drinking Brandy Old Fashioned Sweet. Real Sweet, not diet.
