Good day all.

My news of the day is that I found 2 gray hairs this morning! I've been plucking gray hairs for the past 10 years (since I started dating my husband, go figure! ;) ). I've been thinking about putting some color into the front part of my hair, perhaps this is further reason to consider it. (Like a color color, probably purple.) At any rate, I think I'm going to stop plucking the gray hairs, they're multiplying on me.

Morning. Glad it is Friday. I have been a bit tired this week. I think it is mainly to me not drinking enough water all week.

Mz - the old wives tale is every time you pull one gray hair, seven replace it.

man if I plucked my gray hairs, I'd be 1/2 bald and need to do a comb-over hair-style. And even some of them comb-over hairs would be gray.

I think I must have plucked too many on one side...  Although I'm not brave enough to color a color, I do like the way the purple looks in sections on long, dark hair;  my daycare lady does that and she looks cute.

I have long brown hair, and I don't plan to bleach it, just put the purple right over what I already have, so it'll be a little subtle.  And I just plan to do the front sections.  But it's good to know that someone's done something similar with good results.

MZ, I feel ya! I've noticed more and more gray hairs on the sides of my head the last few years. But I'm just happy the hair is still there. I can live with a few gray ones. nod.gif

The weatherman says we're supposed to start a stretch of nice days today, but right now it's only 18 degrees. He better not have screwed up AGAIN! angered.gif

Morning all. Must we discuss the grays? I'm trying to live in denial, but its getting harder. People keep asking me if I lightened the color of my hair. NO!! Its all the "platinum highlights" amassing. bleh.gif I find myself increasingly wandering through the hair dye section of the store, but I can never actually decide what color my hair is or should be. Besides, once I buy that first bottle, I know I will be committed to that path for several years to come.

On the up side, it is supposed to be warmer today than it has been the last several days... maybe in the 40's. I'm only going to be in the office for another hour or so today, then it is off to a group lunch, then to a team builder at one of the local bowling alleys. Lunch will rock, but I'm not a bowler... no offense intended to those of you who enjoy bowling... it's just not my thing and I refuse to rent shoes. blankstare.gif

I guess it will be better to be out of the office today. Yesterday was a bloodbath in the building next door... I understand that is continuing today. Other groups are getting hit too. From what I can tell, these are the really brutal ones... groups getting hit for up to 75% of their employees. The effects are already noticeable. I parked a whole floor lower today when I came in than I normally do. hmm.gif

Sorry Mema, I'm just having a quarter life crisis. I'm dealing with some dry scalp, and I'm noticing gray hairs while trying to prevent flakes. I just found another! They're all in the same area, maybe I'll end up sporting a Cruella DeVille look, that wouldn't be too bad...
