I saw on the news where there are something like 30,000 Burmese Pythons slithering around Florida thanks to escapees from pet stores during the hurricanes. CREEPY!!

I know they all serve a purpose... I just don't know why the spiders want to live in my house. I had the house bug sprayed today because I found a brown recluse in the kitchen yesterday.
The reporter was mentioning that the Burmese Python could conceiveably live as far north as the DC area quite comfortably. My guess is that if that is true, good ol' Kansas would be easy living. Last thing I need to wake up to is an 18 foot long, slithering, ill tempered, carnivour.

I thought about trying to get a job there if I got laid off. One of my cousins is the CFO of an outfit called Advamed... they lobby for medical supply companies. Swanky office on Pennsylvania Ave.

I don't see it happening. Think I probably missed my chance at making the easy move to DC. Now I would have to drag the whole family and a few friends with me.

On the up side, the indigenous snakes generally move slowly so the pythons shouldn't have much problem catching them.
