You can access all the request stuff using the iPhone and the audio through the car stereo sounds great!

I need to find out more about this kinda stuff. postcasts, iphone, etc....I'm glad it sounds good.smile   lol imagine that if the station were to take off via this. FINALLY!!! headbang.gif

I think the request system as available by iphone would be way cool. smile

Building an app for this sounds fairly easy too!

There are two Milwaukee stations that already have them, it's not like building a game or utility, it's just a matter of a picture representing FFR and a stream.  If I can get my hands on a cheap mac computer I'm SURE I can do it.

Apple has tutorials and free developer software.

If I could add buttons to search and request music that would REALLY make it stand out over the other iPhone music apps.

We could actually wind up with some listeners finally!

I see them myspace/facebook ads that can be done, I get tempted from time to time to do one of them to see if anything happens with that....smile

I found a guy who says he will do apps for a reasonable price.

I sent him an email asking for a quote on what we'd need. If it's reasonable enough it would be cheaper for me to just have him do it instead of buying a computer just to build one app.

It's funny youse are talkin' 'bout that. I was so wishing that I could access my favorite streams while driving. Told da misuss, she's like "you can do dat?" I'm like "yah" she's like, "cool, how much"
Well, I'd like to get the kind of stereo that allows an auxilary connection. I've got an aftermarket one that I was going to put in my Olds. It was too big for the glove box.
I'd like to check it out.
