NEWARK, Ohio - Authorities in Ohio say a man has been charged with drunken driving after crashing his motorized bar stool.

The Newark (Ohio) Police Department say when they responded to a report of a crash with injuries in early March, they found a man who had wrecked this bar stool powered by a deconstructed lawn mower.

Police in Newark, 30 miles east of Columbus, say when they responded to a report of a crash with injuries on March 4, they found a man who had wrecked a bar stool powered by a deconstructed lawn mower.

Kile Wygle, 28, was hospitalized for minor injuries. Police say he was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated after he told an officer at the hospital that he had consumed 15 beers. Wygle told police his motorized bar stool can go up to 38 mph.

Wygle has pleaded not guilty and has requested a jury trial.

This may be the last weird news story I post for a while. I think I'm going to save the rest for a revamped version of the Weird Newz.

Although I'm thinking of renaming it. It's a lot more than weird news, it's also stupid criminals and just offbeat stuff.

yeah we are dug out...took a few hours of digging and another hour with a snowblower but its done. Bad news is that the wind was so nasty that it blew snow into two roof vents...and now it is raining in the living room. Actually now that it got colder again its not melting anymore but I am sure it will start again tomorrow. hmm.gif
