RE: TGIF

today I saw this old man with a walker standing at a bus stop that is currently out of service due to road repair. I wonder if he's still out there.

nah, traffic is down to one lane, heading in the opposite direction, right in front of him. no time to stop, but you'd hope he'd kinda figure out a bus isn't suddenly appear head on in that lane against traffic.....

Yeah, it was probably him that JD saw earlier today, and that's why JD kept right on going. rofl.gif

I'm ashamed to say I did that once to an old man waiting for a bus.  ashamed I didn't mean to.......I slowed way down, couldn't move into the other lane due to a whole bunch of cars being there, but dang, if he didn't get drenched anyway.  While he was shaking his cane at me, the guy behind me got him again. no

Sad, but really funny all at the same time! The actual cane shaking would have cracked me up!

It was really funny! biggrin

But I felt bad the rest of the day.  Poor old guy was all dressed up in his Sunday best.  He looked like a drowned rat and I probably ruined his only suit. hmm

Aww... I'd probably feel bad about it too. But you'd think if he was in his best duds he would know better than to stand so close to the puddles.
