Howdy folks.

Church was canceled today due to the snow/ice. I enjoyed the sleeping and having a slow morning, but I miss not going more.

Looks like I'll get to go move some snow later. hmm.gif

G'morning all.

Luckily for us it appears the forecasted snow isn't going to materialize.  They were calling for up to five inches of snow with periods of freezing rain and sleet.  But as of now we just have a little drizzle and the temperatures are rising above freezing.

If this misses us I certainly won't mind.  clap.gif

Good day all.

I've been having a lazy Sunday. After going full out all week, it's nice to take it slow for a day.

I suppose I probably should trade this robe for some real clothes now that it's afternoon and all.

Good day all. I slept in really late today, so I'm busily catching up on the rest of my household chores. Its cold and very windy outside today, so that is good reason to stay in and do laundry. smile.gif

The Tar Heels won last night, so it's a good day all around. smile.gif

Hi all!  Today was a mixture of getting some chores done and playing video games.  I managed to talk my husband into playing 2-player Halo with me, and he actually enjoyed it.  He's not a gamer like I am, so I was surprised that he stuck with it for a few hours this afternoon.

The weatherman says snow will be moving in tonight, and continuing throughout the day tomorrow.  hmm Maybe I'll get lucky and we won't get any.

hear that, sandy. we got lucky in milwaukee- they were saying we were gonna get 4-8 inches, or NOTHING. we got NOTHING. so far, at least. but then reading that web got snowed outta church, makes me wonder whats in store next....

kinda interesting how in some ways a lot of us share the same band of sky seperated by a few days....

Yeah, we usually get whatever you guys do, only 24 hours later, then I think it heads Darlene's way.

We didn't end up getting as much as they originally expected but what we got was REALLY wet and heavy. I think I spent more time unplugging the snow blower than actually moving snow. It won't last long . . . 40 tomorrow and 60 on Tuesday.

thats because we got it AGAIN! angered.gif

 and if you spray cooking spray like pam or something like that in the snowblower it helps.

I have 3-4 feet of it I could send to anyone that is in need nod.gif If you travel 45 minutes into the hills they have 6+ feet of it. Keep in mind that two weeks ago we were sitting in the back yard in shorts and having a bbq with some friends...it was 80 degrees at 7PM.
