would anyone here like a classical music show?

duh. its a primarily 80s station, so I doubt it.blankstare

but,

I have been burning a boatload of classical music discs for a buddy at work. In doing so, they get added to my my music folder. I have enough music that I could easily do a classical hour for the next year and have the majority of the music be fresh each time. I would do this as a replacement of college daze, or if its a real good night, after college daze.

just curious. I like classical to an extent, but after awhile, it gets old, I admit. But the best of it can be just a beautiful peace of art. I  have enough to explore and try and find them beautiful timeless moments.

Classical, as well as jazz, and for that matter, underground 80s stuff isn't represented in the milwaukee broadcast radio market anymore. Probably not very much anywhere anymore now that the clear-channel perhaps aint so clear...

we'd be talking way late on a sunday night, which in itself is a discouragement, except for a few hardcore radio fans.

I guess the real question is- would anybody mind if I played classical music here on sunday nights?

I gots no problems with it.

Except classical music always conjurs up images of a demented serial killer dismembering his victims bodies in my head hmm.gif

I'd enjoy that! I love classical music. Bach, Beethoven, Mozart... they were the head bangers of their day. nod.gif

I also don't mind some classical music. I will agree that I can only listen to so much and then I have to move on to something else. Kind of like when I listen to country music.

I think Sunday night would be a great time for a classical show, and it'd be nice. I can never listen on Sundays though, so don't take my opinion too seriously.

True. That's just one of my secrets to sleeping well when I'm really stressed out. Classical music channel and some Tylenol PM.

Even the really aggressive classical music?

Or just the mellow melodic stuff?

I like both versions of classical. The mellow stuff is easier to sleep to. I like the more aggressive stuff when I'm working.

True, but that's when you have to just hear the William Tell Overture in your head.

Trevor Hoffmann uses that as his theme song every time he closes a Brewer game.
