Well, here it is Friday of our short week. I have to say I am glad to see it arrive. I stayed out way too late last night. And had a bit to drink as well. Probably shouldn't have had that last one. Oh well. I am going to go try and take a nap somewhere.
Oh yeah, I brought in fresh, hot soft pretzels this morning. Come and get 'em. Well, they may just be warm now.

Short week my eye! Maybe in days, but I swear, the hours seem to have doubled...
Woke up in the very wee hours of the morning to the hooty-hoot of an owl and the screeching of a rabbit (or some other unlucky critter). Never could fall back to sleep

No angry eyes. THE MAN seems in a chipper mood and has already offered lunch. One of our project managers is under the gun to get a quote out, so he's beginning to panic. I've been checking his figures and making corrections...

I would have liked to stay in my bed this morning. I guess I will just have to do that tomorrow morning instead.
And you know as well as I do that the higher up you go, the more skills you lose. It always seems like the people in higher positions don't know anything. It makes you wonder how they got there in the first place.

I had DSL troubles start at the office yesterday afternoon. The secretary at church called and said she couldn't get on either so I know it wasn't just me. I had to load up some trash this morning which took a while then went to get online and realized I still had DSL issues today. I called the phone company and got the typical "I'm running tests right now and it looks fine from here". Well, two different computers from two different locations can't get on, AND my laptop works fine at home but not at the office . . . so there IS and issue on whatever section serves that area.
Of course its Friday so nothing will be done until at least Monday.
So, I came back home to be able to handle some of my own customer's support troubles.
Good day all! Well, it is payday... so of course that makes it a bill pay day too. Easy come, easy go.
But it is bright, sunny, and 73* at present. It's Friday, and though my vacation is over there is still the weekend between me and having to go back to work. I intend to enjoy it.
Got some yard work to do today. Never did get around to getting my hair cut, so probably that too. Probably a few other errands to run as well.
