Starting Friday, May 6'th Freeze-Frame Radio will have a new weekly feature. We're calling it the NEW MUSIC WEEKENDS.
Every week, a brand new album, that hit stores three days earlier (on Tuesday) will be featured.
From 12:01 AM Friday until the start of Underground 80's at 7 PM Sunday one track per hour will be played off of the new CD.
This will give listeners an opportunity to hear most of, if not ALL of the new release, and hopefully help in your decision making process as to if you wish to purchase the disc.
The featured CD will be the highest profile release of the week. For example, if we had been running the feature this weekend, it most likely would have been BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - DEVILS & DUST.
As an added bonus, on some weekends we will be giving away copies of the CD as well. When we are running a giveaway we will accept the first email received when a song from the album is played on the air. emails will be put in a bin and on Monday morning we'll draw the winner or winners of the giveaway CD's.
Awww man, you are the two that are holding back the digital revolution!
Actually though, I gave serious thought to moving to a pretty remote area of South Dakota, but before I would I HAD to know they had broadband, and they did, so I was assuming it was pretty much available ANYWHERE nowadays.
You must be in a pretty remote area hey?
You know though, satellite TV also offers broadband service, and that's available anywhere. So if you ever decide you just can't live without faster internet, you can go that route.
No, cable, DSL, and broadband are available in my area, I'm just too poor to afford them. I had a run in with credit cards when I was in college, and I'm literally paying for it now...
We're not remote, our problem is politics. The hardware is there, our town just need to figure out who owns it, can lease it, and all that "JD Jazz". It should be cleared up within the year, I hope.
