It doesn't look like a horrible day at work, but I dreamed about work last night. I dreamed that I quoted a customer the wrong price, it was way too low, but I didn't catch it until after they got their stuff, so we lost money. There was also something wrong with an order that a customer canceled but the supplier sent it anyway. And there was something about killing cartoon characters, but they weren't cartoons, they were real people.

We have a good chance of thunderstorms today. I wouldn't mind a nice daytime storm.

Church was really nice yesterday. Our pastor is on vacation so we had a family singing group come in and they did a concert for the entire service. It was mom, dad, and 5 kids (they have 8, but three are older and doing their own thing). I wasn't expecting a lot, but they were REALLY good. Lots of talent in that family. They even brought their own sound system so I didn't have to do anything, but sit and enjoy it.

I'll be working on getting the shop ready for a garage sale we will be having here. The "city wide garage sales" will be this weekend, and a couple friends are going to join us in having a sale here. I need to do some cleaning and organizing out here in the storage area of my shop to make room. I hope we have a good turn out and get rid of lots of cra.... I mean stuff.

Vehicle #1 was a pickup driven by a 17 year old boy. He is in the hospital for surgery on two broken ankles and his back.

vehicle #2 was a car driven by a boy who just turned 15 that day. It doesn't say if he had a learner's permit, but I assume that was the case. The report says the 15 year old, lost control of the car and skidded into the oncoming pickup head-on. Also in that car was his dad, stepmother, 10 year old sister, and 19 month old sister. The driver, mom, and dad were killed, the 10 year old is in critical condition, and the 19 month old was treated and released to family.

Maybe we should all be riding in car seats.

I know these kinds of things happen all the time, but for a community the size of ours, this is a tragic story that effects us all.

That's awful. Not many states let kids drive at 15. Let alone parents who allow new drivers to drive with family members in the car. Thoughts to the remainder of the family.
