I have actually watched that show once or twice. See, where I live, we don't need that show. You just go down to the local barber shop and find out everything. Yes, I go to a barber, not a stylist. The conversation is better and he cuts it the way I tell him to and not the way he thinks it will look best.
We should call them. It couldn't hurt and it would be great PR for FFR. We love our people so much that we will hunt you down like a dog if you try to leave.

Gosh, I feel so special to have a dedicated thread to my absense.
Hmmm, I've been wondering why I keep seeing black vans with dark windows most every where I go lately.
Confession is good for the soul so here goes . . .
Like others have mentioned, I've been very busy with my two businesses over the last few weeks. In February, my church went through a split and many of the current leaders left and/or resigned. I suddenly found myself in a position of leadership there that has also taken a bunch of my free time.
That's only part of the story. Just for the record, I have NOT been cheating with another board but yes, I'm guilty of cheating with another "Station".
It all started quite some time ago when I discovered a computer/tech show on "Tech-TV" called "The ScreenSavers". I quickly became addicted to this show. Every evening from 6:00-7:00pm, that was "daddy time". Don't talk to me, don't look at me, that was my one hour for the day under "do not disturb" conditons. lol
Several months ago, "Tech-TV" was bought out by "G-4" and they quickly began to ruin the show. They fired most all the show's personalities and dumped all the technical articles in replaced it with total fluff. I learned that even the "live callers" with tech questions had been replaced with staged friends of cast members.
Several weeks ago, I learned that the initial starter of the old "ScreenSavers" (Leo Laporte) has been doing a three hour radio show on Saturdays and Sundays in California on an A.M. Station there. In poking around his site, I found that they have archived all their shows as mp3 files (leoville.tv).
So, I now confess . . . in my limited listening time, I have been cheating on FreezeFrame Radio and listening to Leo's archives over the last few weeks. There, I said it . . . you all know now. Since I have not been listening to FFR as much, I don't think to check into the forum as much.
I hope you can one day forgive my straying ears. I'm addicted to geek stuff. I found those geek archives and my desires to fill the empty void of the old "ScreenSavers" was just too strong. I had every intention of coming back to FFR as soon as I got caught up with the "other show's" archives. I only hope it's not too late. Is there anything I can do to make it up?

If Freeze-Frame wasn't giving you what you needed, if you didn't feel fulfilled by our programming, WHY didn't you say something?!?!?!? Didn't we deserve AT LEAST THAT MUCH!
Has the past six months meant NOTHING TO YOU!!!
We could have tried spicing things up with some tech talk now and then! We're not above that! BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! You strayed and got your tech talk somewhere else! Who KNOWS what kind of viruses you may have potentially exposed yourself to in the process!!!!!
Look, I think it's safe to say we all want to be able to work this out. We've invested too much time in this relationship to just walk away, but we need a commitment from you that you will put in an effort to never completely forget us again! You've got to let us know when there's a problem! Only through communication can we effectively continue our broadcaster/listener relationship!
Lately, it feels like we're the ones doing all the talking! (Ok, we DO have the microphones, and you only have the speaker, but STILL!!!!).
Also, I think therapy is in order. I'll call Dr. Laura and set something up
Glad to hear from you, Dovetails. This thread has definitely been good for a laugh.
I hate to hear about your church and the split. That is always hard to go through. We've had that happen around here and there really aren't any winners in that situation. Hope everything works out.

If your involved in a good church, that's a good start. I say we get into some relationship counseling, follow JR's advise about open communication, and re-establish some trust.
Speaking of open communication, I've really had issues with the dog head. Could you please take it off? At least in private situations?
I know I should have said something. I thought I could juggle both audio sources and no one would know. No matter what source I get my audio from, I always keep virus protection in place.
I do not love FFR any less, I simply found that those geek archives were filling the void left behind with the loss of my daily show.
Jeremy, if you want to provide some tech talk now and then, that would be great. I'm wondering though, since this is FreezeFrame Radio, I suppose we would have spots about the Commodore 64 and that new VHS format?
I have been checking in the forum every few days, just haven't had anything to say. Maybe it was guilt, but I'm usually a pretty quiet guy by nature.
Group hug?
