Thankfully I don't feel like that every day. I couldn't handle that. The past few weeks just seem to have me feeling that way. And today especially. I think needy people and the large headache I have are just irritating me.

Most days I only feel that way for a few minutes. Somedays its an all day thing. It tends to correlate with the amount of stupidity I have to deal with on any given day. Today, for a Monday, its not so bad.

Yeah...but we're only a couple of hours in. Just wait. Something dumb is right around the corner.
Before 8AM our equipment vendor tried to talk me into switching active IP servers for the SSTKs on switch 910 (a.k.a. the problem child switch). I'm thinking that is a pretty stoopid way to end an otherwise distinguised career.

You have to have all your POs for the fiscal year in by 6/8/09. When do you get quotes? After noon on 6/8/09 of course!!
And the Etch, who said on Friday, "I'll help you with that [rush order that she brought in] on Monday morning," got here at 10:30, left for lunch at noon, is leaving early, and is "too slammed" to help me any more than calling in one order.
We made it. I was a little worried (still am) as Sunday night, I had a server puke up one of its CPUs. The techs at the data center got it running again on just on CPU. It seems to be running ok, but I'd feel better with it on two. Its struggling to get the backups done each night. I'll have to get a CPU sent in into replace the burned out one.
We had a nice drive today. We came up through the Badlands which was really cool. As you may expect, I took lots of pics and I'll share a few of them (not tonight though, I'm beat).
We stopped at Ally's work and finally got to meet her face to face. I think the cat family even agreed to put up with us for a while, and maybe even be seen in public with us . . . in their own home town, no less. Now THATS courage.
Tomorrow, we're headed up to Spearfish to have lunch with a gal that Mrs Web used to work with back in our town. We haven't seen her in a long time. Then, we will tour around that area a bit, probably stop at Sturgis, maybe buy a t-shirt so we can say we were there.
I'm not sure if we will do Rushmore tomorrow, or wait and do tomorrow night with Sparky and Ally, or wait until Wednesday. Sometime we also need to squeeze in the Reptile Garden as the boy loves that stuff too.
