Today, we did Sturgis (bought a couple t-shirts), met Mrs' Web's friend for lunch in Spearfish, then went down through Spearfish Canyon to Rushmore, then came back to Rapid City for a nice meal with Sparky, Ally, and Lil' A (she's soooo cute!).

The canyon drive was awesome. If you are ever in this area, make sure you allow time to go through that area.

I've taken 121 pictures so far in two days. No, I'm not going to post all 121 of them. For now, I'll just share this one, BIG pic.

I was playing with my camera's stitch photo option and I got this at Rushmore. This is seven shots taken of about 180 degrees from left to right and then they were stitched together. I'm standing on the front edge of the main observation area.

Drat, the forum won't let the pic be over 1,200 px wide.

It was a very nice dinner, Web and his family are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I couldn't get over how well mannered Logan was plus that boy has more knowledge in his little toe than Ally and I put together! smile.gif

The Web you see on here is what you'll get in person....well except for that whole weird 3rd arm growing out of the middle of his back. But it was nice to shake his hands! nod.gif
