I can't tell you what a releif it is to finally get this up and running!


Ironically yesterdays major outtage was a big help in getting it done.  I knew before I could seriously consider getting it running I would need to have two seperate broadband connections into the studio for security purposes and to avoid slowdowns on the system.  So when we had all that downtime it was a great opportunity to finally move on it.


I really think this will help keep the mix more interesting now that people can search by song and stuff.


I also think it takes us to the next level of professionalism as a station.

Neiss, actually no, the station was down because of crappy service from SBC Yahoo, but when I realized we were in for some serious downtime I used the time to finally fine-tune the programming and get the system running.


So, I guess in the long run I'm glad we had such a major outtage!

if you move your mouse curser to the white portion of the control panel on the left you can left click and select "REFRESH", that will just refresh the NOW PLAYING, REQUEST LIST, etc. portion of the page.


After that the NOW PLAYING and the REQUEST LIST buttons should work properly for you.

Hey JD, you still see that "Few Listeners" line on your screen?


That was removed, it doesn't appear anymore.  Maybe you're seeing an old copy of the page from when we were testing.


This new programming is PHP not HTML, it works in a differnet way, I think you may be able to have just PART of a page not refresh properly.
