I know you don't see me much but every work day I still open all the FFR pages into tabs as I've always done. It will be weird/sad to not do that anymore. The station is awesome! I appreciate what everyone involved has done over the years! It's been a great ride- wish i would have discovered it sooner...

A sad day in radioland. Not only have I enjoyed the music but the friendships that have developed (even if they are virtual only) with so many of you on here. I know I have some contact with many of you on facebook (for the rest of you...www.facebook.com/sgmorrell) and hopefully we will continue to chat and be friendly.

In the meantime, I'm gonna keep listening and in off hours try and find a station that might be able to serve my needs...any suggestions, just let me know!

SG, there's no way I can turn to another radio station after this. I know some people like Blip.fm. Personally, I like Pandora. Doesn't Last.fm do something similar?

last.fm has restrictions. I say Pandora may be the best. I use blip when I have time on my hands to pick out songs.

I think I'm gonna try some of the stations on itunes under radio....maybe something good there.....?????

This is very sad news but not all that unexpected to be honest, the whole internet music sharing thing has changed so much and I have started using other methods too but it was always nice to FFR here like an old friend to come back too but alas I understand the numbers just arn't viable.

I hope we can all stick around as a forum though as much as I haven't been around much for a while, I would hate to lose touch completely with you all, It has been a pleasure to virtually meet you all.

I also want say a huge thanks to JR and JD for starting this thing in first place, it was awesome while it lasted. biggrin
