Morning all. I see you are all just as sunny bunny thrilled with the Monday as I am. smile.gif Actually, its not so bad. Did get a slow start this morning, but I'm finally at the office. Monsoon season continues in Kansas today... torrential downpours for the drive in. Presently everyone's favorite... 69*.

Odd that we haven't really had the nortbound storms this season yet. Give it time... we are just getting to the start of hurricane season.

The hail is just un FREAKIN real! Momma said there was golf ball sized hail at her house on Friday. Ripped up her houseplants which were on the patio and did a lot of damage to her trees. I saw minimal damage at my place, but I don't know that we had as bad of hail.

Golf ball size, no kidding? The hail missed us Friday, but it poured hard for about 30 minutes, and we got about 3" in that short time.

At least this year we haven't seen much tornado activity.

I am glad it isn't just us getting pounded with rain. Saturday there was frequent torrential downpours. There had to easily be a half dozen of those throughout the day. And they weren't those quick 10 minute things either. The creek was way up come Saturday night and yesterday.

I don't think it really hailed where I am. Momma lives a little southeast of me. I remember the rain being just insane for a couple hours... looked black as night outside too. Momma said the hail woke her up and it was going hard for about 15 minutes. Said she had so much of it come down so fast there was a sheet of ice on her patio from the rain trying to push the hail out into the grass.

When I got home from work, there were a bunch of little tree branches and leaves down in the front yard, but that happens just from a hard rain too. A couple of my plants got knocked over, but that was it for damage.

not a whole lot of change on my end. Still dealing with father-in-laws medical. Actually he goes in for another surgery tomorrow. His folks have pretty much moved in since around Memorial Weekend. It's challenging. My Mom called me and told me she fell down the stairs last night. Broke one ankle in 3 places and sprained the other.
At work- I am taking on more shortly, I will be the new med coordinator for the shop below me. I haven't done the training yet.

My life is hectic as always- lol

unfortunately not much change with her. We still see her very little and we keep waiting for her to change. Doesn't even call to see how Grandpa is doing but if it were her Mother's Dad- well that would be another story.

That has to be tough for your whole family. At least there is a comprehensive plan to try to correct his issues. That has to be somewhat comforting.

somewhat. It would be a whole lot easier if the damn anesthesia didn't make him go looney. This puts such a strain on everyone. Last time cuz they would let MIL stay with him- he walked to find her with a catheter cry She got to stay after that episode
